After playing the game almost everyday for the past two years, I'm about ready to delete this game from my Xbox hard drive because of this. How can you(Bungie) possibly think this is fun?

5 RepliesNothing screams fun like popping a phalanx shield only for him to immediately reactivate. Or having to rinse and repeat this 3-4 times before he finally decides to be staggered.

3 RepliesLmfao go play mayhem, people are invisible.

71 RepliesI'll tell you what's not fun. Having the game be piss easy where you can melt everything without even using your brain. Destiny saw some of its lowest numbers of all time during the WQ year, which was the easiest Destiny has ever been. There's a connection there. Forsaken was the golden age because it catered to the more hardcore players, and it didn't hold the hand of bottom tier players. Bungie knows this is the way, and voila, the numbers are huge again. Funny how that works.

3 RepliesEdited by djdude (ADEPT): 3/7/2023 2:04:06 AMThey should just do what Titan Fall 2 did with their Master difficulty. Where in which they didn’t make enemies harder to kill, they just made the player/you way easier to kill. It was hard but not because I had to spend 15 minutes in one small group of Grunts or Specters. It was only hard cause I just had to think more of how to play and such but it wasn’t bad like d2’s is

Yea I’m not enjoying this dlc either. I grinder pretty hard for 2 days to get ready for the raid and tbh the game is just too frustrating now. Their idea of making the game challenging kind of sucks. I don’t mind the game having some form of difficulty but within reason. Everything is just a bullet sponge (anyone play the division? Reminds me of that now lol). I’ve been around since the start of destiny and always enjoyed it but now not so much. Glad they listen to saltagreppo and other streamers and cater for them. Apart from streamers who actually asked for the game to be what it is now? lol

1 ReplyEdited by Natdeguerre: 3/7/2023 6:25:03 PMRaising enemy health across the board is a cheap and uninspired way to make things take longer. I don’t mind enemies doing more damage so much, but the bullet sponges are just tedious and boring. A definite turn off. Most primary weapons feel rather pointless and it seem to force me into using a few “meta” items that get boring after a while. Even those that are normally fun guns, through being pushed to over-usage, become boring.

2 RepliesHere’s my new strategy Start by doing a bit of damage and then die. Then do a bit more damage and die. Next do a little bit of damage then die again. Followed by a few more death on your part, do whatever damage you can sneak in. At this point try not to rage quit because you just have to die couple more times. This technique works for all builds and classes. Thanks Bungie for the fun

9 Replies'Member when Bungie said they didn't want D1 to be about bullet sponges? Pepperidge farm remembers.
-
Agree. Being 1815 and having it take two full clips of Outbreak to kill one yellow bar harpie is just crazy.
-
Red bars needing a whole magazine to kill is not fun.
-
Neomuna is a boring place to be . Pointless having a patrol zone with bullet sponges.

Edited by Taejzon23: 3/8/2023 3:45:12 PMDevelopment meeting-----We have an "idea"! "Let's make the game harder, to artificially inflate the playtime! Our investors will LOVE that!" "Let's make more reskins and reuse every asset we can, and watch these players PAY for it all....again!" At some point, it's not the game...it's us. We keep falling for it.

I'm okay with bungie being like "you'll take me damage and die faster" but the guardians are supposed to be these superhero undying warriors, I'm sick of everything taking a whole mag to down at least. Why are super hero warriors weaker than red bars?

1 ReplyIm legit considering uninstalling rn. The new exotic mission makes me want to split my controller and half, and I've been doing it on a -blam!- Loreley build that makes me near unkillable.
-
Nope. D2 Year 1 all over again. Challenging, they should be. Red bar sponges should not.
-
Two puches kill a red bar A full clip from a primary kills a red bar Ergo, melees hit harder than guns....
-
I just use a machine gun for my primary weapon now.
-
It's like being back at the D2 Vanilla Beta when one of the more common feedback was enemies and bosses be bullet sponges. When the game released, Bungie had decreased theyr total health. Now we're back at the point?
-
They didn't even have to increase the artificial difficulty. They removed the Well mods that made the game easy. And now people are resorting to bugs and glitches to cheese everything.
-
2 Repliesagree those dudes with the scythes have way too much health agree that bullet sponges can easily make something fun into something tedious and chorelike
-
Normally, I don't mind if the difficulty is a little harder. But I just ran a hero nightfall at level, and it was brutal. I think maybe in some activities they over adjusted.
-
2 RepliesEven with builds it’s just stupid if i wanted to see a build I’d play warframe or outriders since they legit got real mods.

Git Gud

1 ReplyThey don’t play their game, don’t test their dlc, don’t care about a fun experience and just want your money. Welcome to 2023

Edited by Dundeemon: 3/8/2023 5:36:12 AMWhat's weird is that the patrol area has tougher enemies that the campaign. I can one shot a vex red bar with a bow in campaign and it takes three shots on patrol!
