Title. These mini bosses are far superior.

2 RepliesAnd champions definitely dont belong in raids, as ive said before champions are lazy game design from bungie.
-
2 RepliesWyverns are an example of a bad enemy they do stupid amounts of damage and have crazy damage resist. In some content the game spams wyverns. I’ve been more cautious fighting wyverns than any other enemy
-
10 RepliesLucent Hive and Tormentors both work really well and I’d agree that Bungie should lean into using them more. (Willing to bet we’ll see some tormentors in the raid.) Brig and Wyverns on the other hand don’t work. They just become bullet sponges that slow down content because that’s what their limited mechanics shoehorn them into being.
-
Wyverns 🤮
-
55 RepliesLiterally all of those enemies are trash in comparison to champions. They’re less fun to fight against and don’t have real mechanics except shoot a lot. Champions have mechanics to deal with them.
-
Yeah I prefer all of them over champions👍🙂
-
Agreed!
-
I support this. Champions seem to have stunning issues season after season, and for that alone, I'd prefer some other mini boss. Plus you dont have to restrict your loadout.
-
Wyverns are mad annoying but I'm down for anything else but champions
-
I'll take 5 light bearer taken captains at once over broken champions.
-
Wyverns need to gooooo
-
A tormentor is a champion. Either I have to use strand grapple or a blind grenade launcher/ blind ability. How is this any different from a rushing overload champion. They're the same thing.
-
Briggs just stand there, I’d love it if they did anything but stand there
-
I'm going to be honest, I was let down about the Tormentors. When Bungie first talked about them, the first thing that came to my mind was the Waterwraith from Pikmin 2. This unnatural looking enemy that instilled fear the second you saw it. What we got was just another bullet sponge that occasionally suppresses us. And even then, you can avoid being suppressed if you're paying attention at all. The grab is the same thing.
-
Brigs and Wyverns are just stupid bullet sponges until you unlock their crit zone.
-
Wyverns are terrible
-
Harder difficulties really shows why Briggs are kind of a miss. Also shows why this game suffers from artificial difficulty. We have to shoot a literal bullet sponge for minutes on end until it reveals it’s crit spot, except it has the health pool of a boss damn near. Burst dmg seems to be effective, but good luck with that if you’re not using a super, wasting heavy, or running Witherhoard+starfire. While I 100% agree with your point, I think Briggs should be more maneuverable with a crit spot, or something to make it engaging. Fighting their mini boss versions while you’re permanently under leveled is unnecessarily tedious.

The Artifact, the limited idea of buildcrafting, and NFs revolve around the Chumps. Each of those above would need to be reimagined and they could let go of dictating restrictions to loadouts. But they won't. They just want to service the train and be an optimal station rather than be innovators, risk takers, and game designers.

1 ReplyThe champions are the reason I stopped playing end game content. Better play with a load out I don't care for so I can break barriers and stuff. It's nonsense, these enemies are far superior in terms of difficulty the other is just a cheap attempt at making difficulty.
-
My Lament and Heartshadow would disagree. Not superior at all.🤣⚔️
-
12 RepliesBrigs and wyverns are way too tanky, lucent give and tormentors are too easy. Champions are good because they're hard to fight but are made easier with specific attacks
-
I just want the lucent hive guardian knight ti be able to use thunder crash
-
2 Replieshopefully tormentors get used more i hate those -blam!- but it will bring me joy to see one outside of lightfall content
-
All of those are literally just shoot rockets at them...
-
2 RepliesEdited by HellfireEclipse: 3/6/2023 7:52:24 PMGive us one that swings arounds and stands on walls or ceilings.
-
2 RepliesBriggs are broken but yeah I agree overall.
