I have beaten WQ legendary and done all the raids. That being said, the design for the boss room and the fight itself are absolutely awful. Such a small space with so many enemies and that rotating light wall of death. I like a challenge, but as a solo player it was almost impossible.

Back right corner wall you can avoid the stupid wall, also, you can sneak behind the teleported in the back wall and be 99% safe to fire out from

Hint: those hobgoblin perches are easy to grapple between

There's people literally doing it in under a minute lmao.

1 Reply“Gonna go ‘round in circles, gonna FLY HIGH LIKE A BIRD UP IN THE SKY” The encounter design for the majority of the boss fights for LF has been HORRIBLE. Basically run for your life, plink away at the enemies and hope/pray the architects don’t make you drop the soap. Super fun and engaging. For WQ, seems like you could try a few times, fail .. then figure out a legit strat. With LF after my 14th-15th insta death, I start looking for that charcuterie board ‘cause if you’re just gonna cheese me with mobs of bullet sponges, and yellow bars that laugh when you super them, I’ll just cheese right back:).

almost impossible as a solo player? as a solo player was super easy easy is hard as a team

1 ReplyIt was tough, but very doable. The last bit of the bosses health is very hairy, I got backed into the entrance space and bumrushed by everything. Only pulled through thanks to my super charging at the last second, and mercifully tracking on to the boss.

Edited by The Hermit IX: 3/7/2023 1:43:52 AMBetter load out maybe. I used Osteo, Glaive and HMG. I did it solo on legend. None of its easy solo but it’s fun.

I felt it forced me to get comfortable with strand. While I struggled with the first few attempts, once I figured out the movements, and the right loadouts, it became easy. Don't let your frustration stop you

This mission and the final boss of the campaign were the two things I was worried about doing on legendary after all the horror stories but I found this mission to be one of the easiest and fastest of the legendary campaign. It’s a joke on normal to the point there is an in game speed run challenge for it and then on legendary there’s some challenge but still not too bad.

What’s awful is the “it’s too hard for me so it’s bad design” mentality. The entire point of that encounter is to keep moving and knowing what enemies to prioritize and when. This isn’t a game issue, this is a player issue.

I've been accused of whining about a lot of things to do with LF but that mission was my favourite of the legendary campaign. Really made strand important even just for 5 minutes. The normal version I just walked forward like a bot and osteo striga'd everything cos theres no snipers.
