Lightfall Legendary Campaign Finished- No Rewards.
Last night, my friends and I completed the Lightfall campaign on legendary difficulty. I received the triumph, and the profile banner for the legendary completion. However, when I went to Nimbus,[b] I had no prompt for any rewards[/b], and, in fact, he gave me the dialogue for a quest completion that I'd already done over two days ago.
Further investigating, I checked my triumphs and discovered that while I indeed had the Triumph for completing the entire campaign on legendary, only chapters one and two seemed to be completed, and, furthermore, not a single one of the induvial missions registered themselves as completed on ANY difficulty. In an attempt to fix this, I relogged, (which did nothing), attempted to continue the questline by completing the next chapter- a strike, (which also changed nothing) and finally, attempted to completed the first mission on legendary difficulty the following day, which once again did nothing. Attached is a screenshot of my triumphs screen which shows the utter mess each specific completion tree has become. If there's something that could be done to give me my rewards, I'd be thankful, because while the campaign was fun, there were a few frustrating parts that I wouldn't enjoy having to complete again.

7/9/24 New to game. Completed Light Fall Campaign on Legendary. Got the Triumph and everything. No exotic reward choice at all... Kind of makes me wonder why im playing the game and devoting the time if im not going to be rewarded??? Seems this has been a issue since early 2023 and still not resolved?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!

Same issue but stuck on step 8 the breakneck mission. A friend and I started it fresh together with a third joining the second to last and last missions. they both finished the quests and got rewards while I did not. I got the achievements for completing on legendary and chests along the way but nothing else. really don't want to have to go back through again.

I also finished the legendary campaign and received no armor or exotics. I ran the whole thing 2-man with the same friend, in several chunks since Lightfall released. I did have the game completely crash on me. I reported the crash to you, and loaded back in and re-joined my friend at the exact same spot I had been at. I just can’t remember if the crash happened during the Calus fight, possibly affecting the campaign completion trigger, or during the vexcalibur mission that we did immediately after Calus. Making it really really tough to want to keep playing this season. Story’s garbage, mods and progression were shipped DOA… how did this all get so botched?

2 RepliesExact same issue here. Checked my Journey tab to see if I had missed something, but they’re all checked off as completed on Legendary. Got the Emblem, no Exotic though.

Same here. I just completed the legendary campaign in co-op. When we got done the fireteam lead got the rewards, but the game acted like nothing happened for me. When I opened up the quest it said I still needed to do step 15. We started the session prior to that mission and completed it uninterrupted. My activities look like yours: completed all missions on legendary without credit for chapter 3.

Same issue, completed the campaign on legendary and my triumph screen says the same thing. My campaign is stuck on the headlong mission. I really wish bungie would fix this, I don't want to have to complete everything again. I don't have access to strand, but I now have a view to the outside from HELM.

Same, no choice of exotic or 1770 gear. Did the legendary campaign on my titan in sequence, not doing anything on my other characters or playing with others. Disappointed.

I just finished the campaign in legendary and have the exact same issue as well. No exotic rewards to choose and no higher lever armor set.

9 RepliesHaving the same issue on my 2nd character. Finished the campaign on legendary, on step 21 of 21 "go see Nimbus" and he offers me an exotic engram. No choice of the 2 new exotics. No 1770 gear package. Pls help BNG

Edited by Orpheus Kell of Oracles: 3/6/2023 11:06:07 PMIf you did all the missions on legendary and got the emblem, go back to the quest it got stuck on and replay all the missions from there but on “classic” which is easy mode. I breezed through the missions got the exotics, the 1770 gear and finally was able to unlock strand. Not sure why Bungie Help won’t just suggest that as a fix if people don’t want to wait until reset but it worked for me. Edit - btw I started and finished the legendary campaign the same day with the same group and didn’t get the rewards and didn’t unlock strand despite getting the emblem and triumph, none of us did missions “before” or out of sequence. The campaign is legitimately bugged this isn’t operator error.

Same here, I beat the story on legendary but no free exotic or 1770 rewards. Both my friends got the rewards but not me. Kinda annoyed because the quest is obviously gone after beating the story. I just want the free exotic for my Titan.

I, too, have not received exotic rewards for beating the Lightfall campaign, even on legendary. I am trying to get the Abeyant Leap exotic so I can start my strand build...

We're currently investigating issues causing campaign quest progress to not be gained for some players if they complete missions prior to being on the appropriate quest step. Players should verify what quest step they are on prior to joining with others, and ensure they complete the mission associated with their specific quest step before those further along. Please keep in mind that all missions must be fully and successfully completed on Legendary in order to unlock associated rewards upon completion of the campaign quest line. Disconnects during missions or failure to remain until mission complete may potentially require the mission to be redone in order to progress the quest. Additionally we have recently resolved the issue causing players to become blocked at the HyperNet Current Strike objective of Step 13 of the Lightfall campaign quest. However, on my Hunter, I completed the campaign on legendary up to the second to last mission then noticed that my quest still stated I had to do the Downfall Mission and was only on step 5 of the quest. The triumphs were not awarded beyond the second mission. During my Hunter run I received all the chests at each stage. Looking into the triumphs further I also see that my Warlock did not receive the triumphs beyond the second mission but did receive the armour and exotic at the end. I ran the Downfall and Breakneck missions again on classic which did progress the quest steps but the triumphs were still not awarded. Bungie Please Unravel. Blueberry Pi

3 RepliesYo Bungie I'm an old school destiny 1 destiny 2 player who took a long hiatus. Just to come back to the grind for light fall. And now here I am at the end of my legendary campaign wondering why the heck I came back!! I truly expected more from a multi-billion dollar company. And I've seen y'all's message about your guys are working on fixing it but what's the point?! The excitement to finish the legendary campaign is so we can have that 1770 gear with high stats quicker than most people that didn't get the DLC. So if I'm having to wait for y'all to fix the issue It really kind of defeats the purpose cuz I'm sure by the time it gets fixed I am not going to have a need for 1770 cuz I'm already past it!!smh I truly hope when y'all fix the issue y'all do more than give us what y'all owe us and go above and beyond to credit us for the time it takes for you to fix this! I started in classic because I was not sure if I could do it in legendary but joined my brother in legendary, so I went back and did it and completed it in legendary. I received completion but didn’t receive anything. I believe that we are not the only ones experiencing similar problems.

Same exact issue here and my triumphs didn’t unlock either besides for legend campaign.
