EDZ is broken
I don't know why I am unable to travel to the EDZ there is just no option to. I have everything else unlocked, I have done the quest "A Spark of Hope" and it is telling me to go and see Devrim Kay but I am unable to progress the story any further this is something that seems to be affecting new or returning players as they have ran into this issue as well. Along with that I am unable to complete any Seasonal Challenges as I have to go and do the "Awaken Queensguard" quest which just so happens to be in the EDZ.

Any news on this issue? Im trying to play the lightfall campaign but it’s sending to the Edz which is locked still.

Another user said that playing "The Disgraced" strike on a second character unlocked EDZ for them, but when I tried this, the game got stuck loading out of the strike and back into the tower. I then had to go back to the character selection and load back into the tower from orbit. It looks like when you complete "The Disgraced" strike and load back to the tower it will unlock EDZ, but if this freezes or locks up then the EDZ remains locked. I'll try a few more variations of the strike to see if I can get EDZ to unlock. EDIT: I played the strike for a second time with my second character and EDZ did NOT unlock. I think The specific scenario is:- IF the player has finished playing "The Disgraced" strike and part of the "Guardian Rises" quest THEN unlocked EDZ. - If this load back to to the tower fails from this state fails then EDZ remains locked @BNGHelp2 FYI @RurouniDante FYI

2 RepliesHey i had the same problem been playing for the past 3 weeks or so and was unable to enter the EDZ but i was able to go everywhere else. And i think i found a solution. I created a new character and played through the intro a guardian rises quest and completed the disgraced strike mission and the EDZ unlocked for me on both my new titan character and my hunter. So try that maybe it helps.

I also still can't access the EDZ on my own. I can get a friend to bring me but not solo or as fireteam lead. I have no related quests, i've done all tutorial quests, i've cleared multiple raids, got to light level 1810 BUT STILL CAN'T GO TO THE STARTER ZONE.

1 ReplySame here. My daughter started playing with me and cannot go to EDZ. She can go if I am party leader and take here there, but it's just greyed out for her on the destinations map.

2 Repliesi recently started d2 and got the spark of hope quest after the guradian rises quest and did it till step 6 after that it says to find Devrim Kay at the EDZ but i cant unlock the EDZ . its always grey but the quest points to it.
