The reason it seemed like Uldren was trying to get us killed back then is because he failed at fully capturing/destroying the Vex Network for his mother... he didn't want us to succeed where he failed. Then we killed Pynoptes in which Vance had a vex prediction cube that he was using to communicate with fake Mara behind our backs and manipulated us to gain further control of the Vex Network... Savathun really is a genius using the Witnesses own tool to eliminate 1. Her competition while simultaneously 2. gaining power 3. removes her shackle 4. Shifts the focus... all the blame on to us, while she plans her final blow against the Witness from the shadows because it looks like we killed her and the Witness can't track her if she's not shackled.
