What happens to my character if I refund? (PC) (STEAM)

Hi! Firstly, not trying to start a complain post. My reasons are solely my own. I have tried to search for an answer to this question, and am having trouble. I apologize if this is a re-post or the wrong place to post but I see no other way of contacting a Bungie rep to get an answer nor can I find the answer anywhere. If I were to ask for and receive a refund on Steam, what would happen to my character and the items given through playing and purchasing the DLCs (Lightfall + Annual Pass)? Is it possible my character would be deleted or I would be banned? I am asking before I enact my right through Steam of attempting a refund as I do not want to break any rules or terms. Any light shed on what it would mean for my in-game account would be helpful. Thank you!

    likely the same result as cross saving to another platform. you retain all your weapons and armor but lose subclasses/access to locations

  • Hello there, Your character will remain as is, since expansions are not required to have a character. Any thing that requires that expansion ownership may become locked, this includes subclasses, activities, some gear. If Silver or other in game purchases were included then that could cause your account to get a negative silver balance.
