I'm cheesing the Calus boss fight on my second and third characters
I defeated Calus legit on Legend with my main character. However, with my other characters I'm just going to cheese the fight. It's just so infuriating to die so many times from being knocked off the Ratchet & Clank map instead of actually being defeated by enemies.
It's not worth the hassle. And I'm sure as hell not going to pay for a skip. F that.

4 RepliesSame. Did it legit on the first run. No doubts about cheesing after that. What is Bungo’s obsession with booping, stomping and kill zones? Too many of my deaths were simply being suppressed, not being able to even jump and falling to my demise. Btw, where are all the “make the game harder”-folks at? I thought they wanted this? Or did they pucker up when they got an actual solo challenge?

I beat him on legend legitimately, before hearing about any cheeses. I will cheese it on my Titan and Warlock and I won’t feel guilty about it. I did however, cheese the boss fight for Headlong. That one was so much worse for me than Calus. I will cheese that one again, too.

All they have to do is pit a kill timer all the way around the bubble and the cheese is kaput, so I would hurry -
In his second phase he slammed me and I accidentally panic bubbled off the map and landed on the beams below. I just switched to fighting lion and killed him from down below, then thunder crashed up when he was dead.

Better get it done before Bungie patches out the cheese to make that area either a joining allies area or a soft kill zone.

3 RepliesThe legendary Calus fight is terrible. Way too many one hit kill mechanics at work...some of them are hard to predict. Boop mechanics on steroids as well.

I care so little about this expansion and strand that my other two characters are pack mules from now on. Won't be running the campaign again on either and definitely won't be paying 40 bucks for a subckass.
