5 strikes for a pinnacle... What the heck!....NOOOooooooo
Why? Its grindy enough already I don't want to spend an hour doing the most tedious and boring stuff to get a pinnacle.
3 PVP - good.
3 Gambit - good.
5 strikes - BAD

Its 5 strikes or 3 easies nightfalls. Or 2 harder nightfalls . Or 1 master NF.

You get 40% for the lowest level nightfall.

I'm guessing yes. That was made easier, btw. Do that 1st.... Then tell me how many regular strikes you need to do? It says in the description higher scores will progress it quicker... where do you think you do that? They're encouraging you to prioritize your drops, while simultaneously trying to nudge you into Nightfalls to learn. And as you get better, the drops come quicker... as you learn the drops come quicker. It's actually good game design. Tldr: Do the Nightfall pinnacle first... that's why my first post was exaggerated a bit. The whole premise... 5 strikes, that's false. If you want to make a legitimate complaint... how about, they took a drop away... I'd hear that, there used to be 4 Vanguard drops...bounties, 2 Nfs, 1 reg strike playist drop... they took away the NF powerful. But this complaint... 5 strikes 1. It's not true... 2. It's easier to get both drops no matter your skill level

Don't worry guys. Once you hit max you'll never do a strike again during the season. Bungie wants to steal your time which makes you not want to play. They could make it enjoyable so you want to play more, but that's a head scratcher for them. They're confused at Bungie. They are putting monetization over fun not realizing fun is monetization.

You were already doing that last season between nightfalls and regular strikes most likely. Now you can double dip by just doing nightfalls and be done faster:

1 Reply2 nightfalls, one regular strike - 2 pinnacles. It’s actually easier. My only gripe is that the Hero Nightfall playlist should just be a collection of all strikes like the standard strike playlist. Doing the same strike constantly is boring.

Taking longer to complete activities is their version of "difficult". Almost on pair with Pokemon in terms of -blam!-. Destiny 1 did everything much better.

Why would they ever make something less grindy when people keep engaging with it. They keep upping the grind because a longer grind keeps you playing, more people playing means more purchases and looks good for their shareholders. That's why they have you paying through the nose for a dripfeed of story content, that's why half of the meaningful rewards in this game are locked behind FOMO mechanics, that's why there's so many time gated unlocks. Nothing ever changes because this community is completely toothless, they won't stop doing it if you keep paying for it and playing it. People need to talk with their wallets or shut up.

Do 2 hero nightfalls. They count double for the strike pinnacle and they’re not that much harder. Plus it’s pretty easy to get 100k per run this week so you can easily knock out the Nightfall reward as well.

6 RepliesThis what I see now in strikes. I join, we all load in, ppl leave, and re-Q for another map, easier, faster 1. No one stays anymore, there's more players backing out of strikes to just try to q back in to another easier strike map. Thanks bungie for effin things up

If you just do the nightfall 3 times on hero or less on a higher difficulty it meets the requirement.

My biggest problem rn is the activities with literally one thing in them that you have to multiple times (nightfalls and defiant battlegrounds)
