Game crashing during terminal overload ps5
So since yesterday something has changed in the game or I just got lucky, but during terminal overload my game crashes whenever multiple strand suspension(or other effects potentially) when a titan or titans super goes off. This has happened the most during the final vex boss. I sent a report each time through the ps5 reporting system, but wanted to make sure I posted here too. pretty frustrating to get to the end and lose it all.

Same here. How did this not happen in testing, I have no clue. It’s abundantly clear that this is happening to many players. Reddit is awash with this topic. Please, Bungie….move this to top priority. We have all paid for your game and are now penalized and cannot play.

Edited by Termi187nater: 3/6/2023 9:50:21 PMThis has also happened to me on ps5 crashing most of the time playing Terminal overload but has happened once playing Dares of Eternity I have deleted the game cleared my cache and rebuilt the data base and atm reinstalling D2... Hopefully this works but to be honest I think it'll be frame rate drop that is effecting the game which is causing the game to crash. Basically to much on the screen happing at once causing the console not to process everything happining all at once. IMO I think destiny 2 is now built for pc and no longer for console.

on my warlock, same problem happened every time i played terminal overload on my ps5. it happened during campaign also

Same thing happening to me had 5 people doing vex incursion public and crashes getting old about to quit with strand all together

I’ve had this happen at least 10 times. It just happened during a Vex Strikeforce, the last minotaur was at 2%.. rip my exotic drop. This is getting really old really fast. Get your stuff together bungie

This is happening to people in my clan that are on PS5 as well. So far 10 have mentioned it on our clan discord. I got some feedback as to setups and video settings from them and there doesn’t seem to be any consistency to help troubleshooting.

I'm curious, does checking commendations also crash your game? This happened to me in Terminal Overload but also while checking Commendations.

This is also happening to me, 5 times today specially during the Terminal Overload activity when there are more that 4 players around. It's so frustrating cause is the activity that I most enjoy so far and use to test my Strand Builds.

It feels so bad that I sit down to play and can't make any progress, I've done most other things this week but now can't do these quests because every time I try to do the public event it crashes. And I do mean every time, so unfortunate.
