NAT type
i 've been playing destiny for so long without any problems. Today when i tried to open destiny, i picked a character and i got an error that says "your nat type is set to strict and that could cause experience problem" and couldn't matchmake and do anything, like having network problems. I tried everything in bungie's site, and youtube but nothing change. Any suggestions/help on this issue?(im on pc with a wired connection)

3 RepliesYeah, I never had an issue with it until 2 days ago. And the game is so buggy its literally unplayable. Enemies skip around the arena and I can't even trust what I see on my screen. I'll be shooting at what appears to be a group of adds but my friends are like "why are you shooting at the wall?". Very much regret this purchase if this isn't fixed soon

1 ReplyI have the same problem and when this NAT message does not appear, the baboon error occurs and I am thrown into orbit or even to the game's start screen

If your NAT type has changed from Open to Strict, this can normally indicate something on your network has changed and Destiny 2 can no longer use the necessary ports to access the game. Are you on a university network? Have you set up port forwarding rules on your router? Can you please confirm the Internal and External port numbers provided in the Gameplay section of the Settings tab?
