Game freezing and crashing on Ps5
My friends and I are all encountering issues where when we are on Neptune the game will randomly just freeze and then we get a PlayStation error and have to reboot the game entirely. It’s not extremely common but happened maybe 4 times yesterday to me and a few times to my friends.

Same here, PS5, crashes every single time on Terminal Overload, extremely frustrating.

1 ReplyI’ve had these issues as well, I’ve noticed it always happens while using a strand ability/super on the last vex boss from the big public event in neptune. I main titan.

2 RepliesSame for me. I'm playing on PS5 (PS5 version) and the game crashes constantly when I try to open the Commendations menu. Also, the game often crashes just during the gameplay. In over a year of playing Destiny 2, I've never had a game crash before the release of Lightfall, either on PS4 or PS5.

I cannot complete Terminal Overloads now. I get to the last boss, and right before we drop him my PS5 freezes and Destiny 2 crashes. It's rather infuriating, especially when I'm trying to unlock the exotic glaive. I hope this gets addressed soon.

Same here, was only a couple of times ,now it's 50-50 every vex incursion now.

Same for me.. I’ve noticed it doesn’t crash when I unequip strand.. hope it gets fixed soon.

It seems to happen for me when I start using a lot of abilities so maybe the game just can't handle ability spam anymore

yeah... same here. its crashed about five times so far on PS5 while having strand equipped.

Did you try turning it off and on a couple of times? If that doesn't work try having a hot bath with your toaster yours sincerely #BungieSupportTeam

Happened to my friend too, after 3 crashes he got the warning that game files are corrupt. Downloading the game again fixed it for now - no crashes today.

I noticed that if I am on my own (no fireteam) it doesn't do it or I stay away from the fanatics
