Why is everyone invisible except very few in crucible?

I think its a glitch, i just did my first strike and there some invis thing in it. Might have leaked into other parts of the game

6 RepliesClear yr cache turn off yr console(remove from power supply) for atleast 2 mins and it will disappear

1 ReplyIf you’re on playstation, just turn it off and unplug then replug it so your memory cache refreshes. Happens when you leave it on rest mode too long or if you’ve been playing for long. Should work for other consoles too. PC you can just have that done with settings.

And to all those who are saying that you solve the problem by turning the console off: it does work but only temporarily and then it comes back after a couple of matches. Cannot reset the console over and over every few matches. Bungie needs to fix it!

Happened to me, in crucible it was like trying to catch fog! I could see the names and a faint outline of the body! Like as if it was loading, a bit like sometimes the guns on the guardians back when you enter the tower (see through with just the outline). Players on my team also were also invisible!

4 RepliesMe too! I thought it was just cause I was on ps4. Guns not loading for entire matches, sometimes other players and even myself don't load, the only thing that loads are exotics

Thank you for posting about this. I tried searching 'destiny 2 lightfall invisible' on the internet yesterday and today but couldn't find a single thing even acknowledging it. This led me to believe that it was some brand new Strand invisibility perk that I hadn't unlocked, which had quickly become meta as everyone but me was using it. But playing more today I saw that it wasn't consistent, so I figured that it must be a bug. I was just afraid that I was the only player experiencing it. So again, thank you.

It happens on PC too. The whole lobby/Nightfall etc. Input bugs too. Can't fire weapons or use abilities. Sucks.

I think it's a memory leak. I got it yesterday after having my game was left running for a pretty long time. I restarted and then everything was good.

Not only that, but the models not loading also makes it so that you can't send commendations to other players at the end of a game, which is gonna make getting a 750 commendation score to move up in guardian ranks a lot more tedious.

1 ReplyI'm experiencing this shxt right now in Rift it is -blam!- to say the least. Now only that but reload, reserve, scavenger mods seem to turn off if you die and to make them work again you have to re equip the armor with said mods.

What happens to me on PS5 is eventually the cache fills, or there's a memory leak, or whatever is going on. I turn the system off, do a safe mode boot, select clear cache, and it clears up. Sometimes it comes back in a day or two, but I think somewhere down the line Bungie fixes the issue and it gets better.

I have this problem as well. Really annoying and can not aim my weapon.

This is happening in every activity for me just not crucible. Aiming is impossible with this bug. Bungie fix this!

Agreed! I was thinking it was a new strand ability for a good hour the first night during pvp. I restarted the game and it went away. We will see if it persists.
