So Osiris, pretty much the whole campaign rushed us to stop Calus just so our ghost can get corrupted and create the Root Of Nightmares portal? Question is, why after all the communing we have done with the darkness DID WE FALL FOR THIS!?! Our intelligence has ONCE AGAIN BEEN FUMBLED. I honestly don't know how to feel about this and the campaign...

1 ReplyThe campaign was the opening, not a conclusion

2 RepliesBasically the witness left some pizza inside the traveler. The traveler wanted to keep the pizza to itself so the witness used the veil to open a gate so he can get said pizza back.
-
1 ReplyI'm more suprised Caiatl didn't hook her war hammer at ghost and knock him down. Then again the campaign was filled with holes or situations were we did the dumbest thing possible or took the long work around rather than be direct.
-
The ending is We fhuked up 😂 Legit did all that just to be setup by the witness. But HEY we got rid of Calus for him.

Jesus, even Daddy Byf is mad lol

It means open up your wallet to find out in part 2.

2 RepliesThe only thing I will say for certain is that is was the Witnesses plan to make the veil feel important that way we would lead our Ghost too it. And Calus was a red herring. However, I’m only saying that because I want it to be the truth. Beyond that, no clue mate

Edited by CordovaLark: 3/2/2023 2:53:17 PMWell if the leaks are to be believed then Bungie split what is now Lightfall from Final Shape as they did not like a sizeable calendar year with no content release. Makes sense when you consider Lightfall was essentially a Strand introduction.

Why did we learn about The History of the Hive and The Light, when Savathun did not care in the end Bungie doesn't even know why, they are jumping sharks at this point -
2 RepliesNobody knows what it means, worst story since the curse of Osiris

7 Repliesbungi stated that this expansion was to set up the end of the “light/dark saga.” A lot of loose ends were to be expected. I’m sure the seasons will clear things up over the year.

It means the narrative team dropped the ball big time.

5 RepliesIt felt woefully incomplete for a major campaign and expansion, also kinda pointless with Calus being the laser pointer and us and Osiris a bunch of buzzing cats. What is the Veil? Why did Maya Sundaresh incorporate it into an Ishtar facility? Why is Maya there in the first place? Didn’t Soteria send the colony ship there by accident? And Maya didn’t appear to be on it since she had a spat after it’s launch with Clovis. Oh and why is the god of pain slushing around in Vex virtual space? I mean hinting and foreshadowing is all well and good, but at some point you gotta -blam!- deliver!
-
I don't know. That campaign was about as memorable as a lost sector with a pain in the -blam!- boss room.

1 ReplyMissed it . Someone in the fire team skipped it haha

The cutscene reminded me of “Epsilon” in Rooster Teeth’s Red vs Blue somehow. Merging of missing parts...Idk.
-
1 ReplyDunno yet. Ima get some uh... "Action Candy" from Spider and stare into the Travelers new hole though.

3 RepliesSo we lost? Traveller now has a triangular -blam!-.
