The voice acting for Nimbus is pretty bad.
Oof.
Idk why they have such cringy dialogue.
And their voice sounds kinda... Weird?
Maybe it's just because of the cloud strider augments or something.
Definitely not a fan.
Rohan too, they're both way too cliché and very poorly written

Edited by Shatred: 3/20/2023 12:27:24 PMIt's SICKENING to see how they had a GREAT voice actor for rohan, and then they just kill him off within a couple missions, never to be heard or seen again besides some side quests where he get's only mentioned, SICKENING. And here we are... stuck with nimbus, what appears to be some failed neomuni prototype of what is supposed to be a "cool" person to impress guardians, but all he manages to be is extremely appalling. Nimbus is the SOLE reason I put the voice line AUDIO to ZERO whenever I visit neptune.

3 RepliesThe Lightfall trailers gave me 80s TMNT cartoon vibes from the get go, so not surprising some of the characters are done the way they are. I feel like we went from cool sci-fi to early morning 80s kids cartoon show with this expansion.

Bad writing and really bad audio quality, like a very low bit rate mp3. I don't know what they actually sound like.

Some of Osiris's lines have also been lacking lately, started to notice it in spire , seems like Odhed is just bored of the part and material, and you can't blame him -
I thought my audio was bugging out every time nimbus was speaking. Had to turn on subtitles, could barely understand anything the character was saying with that voice filter.

Rohan was fine. I want to rip my ears off every time Nimbutt talks. Worst character in a long time.

The voice lines are okay, not really good or terrible done questionable lines, but the voice is not what I was expecting, I like the metallic sound to their voice but the base voice just doesn’t fit for me.

Dude sounds like he has a mouth full of food when he is talking & acts like a child in a grown human/superhero’s body. Like Shazam without class or charisma. Definitely set to be the most annoying & obnoxious NPC in the game for a while.

This is another prime example of bungie forcing its LGBT agenda on the characters of the game. I don’t know who is in charge of these decisions but the “creative lead” needs to make some hard decisions, make changes in game, and start firing people. This game has gone so far down hill it’s not even funny. I mean MetaCritic has lightfall as a 1.1 overall 🤣

Very cringe...very. I'm enjoy shooting things in the face every night, but this takes extraa effort to ignore, lol. Like they don't have anyone there in the office telling them no. Still like playing though, so I'm part of the problem I guess. It's like an abusive relationship, lol.
