Yes I am extremely pissed powerful friends got nerfed, but that would've been fine if the new mods weren't complete dog -blam!-, armor charge lasts 10 seconds?? So pretty much I have 10 seconds to do ANYTHING right after getting an orb of light, which is already somewhat difficult to do.
This is just Bungie nerfing us in multiple ways because they want to keep us grinding much longer.
Nerfed resilience, nerfed mods, cap our light, etc
Bungie doesn't know how to make the game harder in a creative way so they just keep nerfing us.

Blue is what I am....what a suck -blam!- Mod...break time for D2.....It seems like they want players to stop playing their game? Borderlands 4 time? Hell even 1st Descendant . Teamwork I get but, when you don't have enought time to revive buddy whats the point of doing grind?

Edited by Kirk Lazarus: 3/25/2023 6:17:22 PMI agree I'm no fan of new mod system myself as I feel it leaves us with alot less choice and a lot to be desired period. All which I believe has been part of Bungie's plans all along and their efforts to streamline everything in attempts to make it so that not only less effort is required when it comes to maintaining the game but so that any lack of content is more easily hidden too. Resulting in and made possible by the massive grind created for players of course.

Edited by Samsinite00: 3/13/2023 7:49:16 PMThey only decay if you run a blue mod, which is helpful if you want a damage increase for a specific energy type, otherwise not so much, since it only temporarily bumps your stat by 3 points, still maxing 10 (so useless on stats already at tier 10). I run those in boss fights that need a lot of damage output, but otherwise not so much. The kickstart ones work without any stacks, they just bump the energy by more when the stacks are used. With orbs being so easy to generate now when using the correct arms or class armor, or helm mods (melee kill, grenade kill, class ability then kill, or rapid energy type weapon kill), one should pretty much always have a charge, I'm able to consistently go into content and generate 70-150 orbs. While the new system is different, it actually feels stronger with the right build.

Here's an idea. Put on one mod that grants you a stupid amount of orbs, and another mod that grants you armor charge. Now you should be getting armor charge like crazy, and you won't have to -blam!- about how "bad" the system is. When the original mod system came out, people -blam!- about it too. How about you just shut your -blam!- trap before you learn how to use it properly. It hasn't even been out a week yet.

6 RepliesLearn to build dude. Its legit super easy if you know how to read.
-
3 RepliesYou have not put any significant time into understanding the new builds. Just two days after release YouTube content creators have already published videos showing powerful builds. It is unreasonable to assume that build you created last season -- or perhaps longer ago -- will last forever. Learn what to change, and you will have powerful builds again.
-
11 RepliesBy having all mods tied to one type of armor piece it really limits build crafting and in the end everyone will have nearly identical builds. Seems boring.
-
3 RepliesAmazes me how fast Bungie can make a game fun then equally as fast reverse it. Like they get good feedback on something, then remove it for something garbage in return. So funny. I’m a chef, if customers loved one of my recipes, I wouldn’t be changing it every time they come in to eat.

Cells, cells. My light for a warmind cell.

They got their money from Sony lol. They got what they wanted. They don’t care about us anymore. They don’t need us.
-
The only gripe I have about it is how generic everything looks, they modernized the mod system and it just looks so visually unappealing, you can create builds where armor charge doesn’t decay like stacks of light, it’s just that most of the good mods decay armor charge.

2 RepliesCan we undo the mod rework. Where are the seeking wells?
-
Yep. Sucks...
-
straight doo-doo
-
3 RepliesBut artifact perks are extremely op. And you can equip more regular armor mods than before.
-
4 RepliesIts still the same lol... even with the nerfs.. you are Def overthinking it.. like with the titan build.. literally takes 3 extra seconds to get everything back lol. And out weapon damage was raised so we dont even need to blindly rely on abilities anymore.. Btw.. we are low level lol. So you still cant compare.. we had this post when 2.0 came out and we went from fire to void

Clearly you don't like the game. Find something else, games should be fun and enjoyable, why put yourself thru the pain.

Edited by Fish: 3/1/2023 5:07:35 AMI can't say I love it but it feels unfair to say it's bad. Really I just miss elemental wells and everything that brought. It's probably for the best that everything is a bit more streamlined and there isn't so many different types of combat mods.
-
4 RepliesThis hate parade is cringe AF.
-
5 RepliesMaking orbs of power is so damn easy now. That's how I know yah didn't even try to look at the mods
-
1 ReplyThey could have left it more or less the way it was just removed the solar, arc, void, stasis limitations and it would have been simple and much better. Dont know why they insist on reinventing the wheel.
-
Armour charge works just like elemental wells and they were on a timer, too.
-
2 RepliesAnother hunter crowd cry... ffs this is getting old, just adapt and keep running, isn't the end of the world. The build system is perfectly fine
-
1 ReplyLol u can have it up for 60 secs learn how to stack bro also try not picking up orb right away stagger them this new system I am charged nearly the whole time I am playing
-
25 RepliesI was playing before and the mods were fine? Virtually everytime I get a kill I have an orb drop, so I get damage resistance and increased kinetic damage. And the timers more like 15 seconds, you can have up to 6 armour charges and the timer refreshes everytime you get an orb. The system isn't bad, you just don't understand how to make a build yet
-
2 RepliesI don't like what they did with the ammo reserve and reload mods, instead of being weapon type specific now they're element specific? So now if I run a void MG and want to switch to an arc or solar I now also have to switch those reload and ammo reserve mods, I don't get the point of that especially because I never run all the same element weapons. This was a very unnecessary change
