Is there a certain amount of time I should be waiting on the one moment please screen? It's been 35 minutes and nothing. Should I restart or just wait?
--Edit Update--
After 1 Hour and 18 Minutes I finally got in. I am not sure how long it will take per person but I remained in the queue for that duration. That may work as a general time frame for most. For those still experiencing the problem hopefully there will be more updates from Bungie to help

2 Replies35 minutes? I'm here more than hour.
-
Then you get DC'D and have to wait another hour 😂
-
Only took me like 11 minutes to get in.

3 RepliesYes ...we who downloaded it earlier have to wait till the servers can handle the ammount of people who didnt and are downloading it now so basically it was pointless preordering because its always to much for the servers but not to little for there bank account....so we all sit and wait together like one big happy community :)

14 RepliesHello. This is expected so that the game can stabilize while players log in.

Edited by Immortal_Spads: 2/28/2023 6:16:10 PMI have done launches where we bring in 100's of thousands of new content users. We expect the load to increase and build VM's to add for the additional capacity usually "cloud sourced capacity" until the "shiny" wears off and keep the consumers happy then we can spool down the service. Doesn't seem to be the case here with Bungie.

IT'S obvious a moment in Bungie space time is immeasurable.

All that I can say to all of you people who say that the launch should be smoother for the price you paid... "You know, sometimes, "I told you so" just doesn't quite say it."

1 ReplyEdited by Vex: 2/28/2023 5:59:12 PMThey don't even tell you what number you are the in queue, it can be 1k or 200k, who knows, just sit there and wait... The game also costs 100 euros to play each year, you would expect at this price they could invest in multiple login servers. For this launch, the servers were also taken down for 24 hours...

Edited by Grave Solace: 2/28/2023 6:13:52 PMIf you're trying to login and you're on the Xbox, Bungie made a post on twitter saying you have to uninstall basically all of the past expansions to get the game to let you in. Not supposed to happen to everyone, but expect it to happen to most

Ive been waiting for over an hour..ive done all the thingstheyve said to do to getin and still havent gotten past thethrottled screen

3 RepliesDepends. Are you a big streamer? They’re always in before us mere mortals. I have more play time than most of them as well 😂
-
I’m in after an hour and 10 mins
-
9 RepliesDo you realize how many people are trying to log on right now?
-
I'd recommend coming back tonight or tomorrow. It's Tuesday. AMC theatres have discounted prices. Good way to spend some time
-
3 RepliesIf you're willing to try it a quick restart of my console just got me into the game I was waiting for about 50 min til I finally said screw it I have nothing to lose and reset.
-
I was waiting about 30 minutes before it loaded my characters. The fun part was when I talked to Shaxx my game crashed.
-
4 RepliesBeen waiting over an hour, a friend just got on and launched the game and was at that screen for 5 minutes and got in. I restarted the game and have been waiting 10mins..
-
Same. I figured they would have a plan and some updates posted already about this.
-
5 Repliesevery major launch has long queue times to get into the game. no one at this point should be surprised by this.
-
2 RepliesIDK about login time but I have to download updates to Warmind, Curse of Osiris, and all the forsaken seasons before I even reach that screen.

How long can something be "throttled" before it's declared dead?
