I recently made a post about controllers, as some of you may be aware, and I understand it’s a very controversial topic. While I do still believe controllers give a little too much help with sniping, I was reminded that the bigger problem (and probably the reason for what prompted me to make my last post) are the devices we are all aware of but cannot name. I hope we as a community can at least all agree upon that. They are a form of cheating, plain and simple. They give aimbot, flinch resist and macros. I’m at the point where I feel like the majority of pvp players use these. It’s also a major problem in other fps games too, not just destiny. But wouldn’t it be great if your team were the first to research and develop an anti cheat that is able to detect and ban players for using these devices? You guys really should have a team of software and network engineers working on a fix to combat these things. If you want to save pvp, that would be a huge leap in the right direction. And at bare minimum, address this problem, you guys seem to just be ignoring us, which is not the ideal response for a developer that prides themselves on their ability to listen to their playerbase

13 RepliesYeah it is cheating. I think everybody including Bungie knows this. I'm really curious what percentage of people playing PvP use these devices. Is it less that 1% or is it 20% or more? I really have no clue.
