Since Season of Arrivals I came back to Destiny 2 to see what has changed, and then got completely hooked on the game. The friends and people I have met throughout, completing raids and competing in PvP content, It's been quite some fun.
It's a game I like to go to after balancing University work and being the caretaker for my Father who suffers with Brain Cancer. It's a game I can relax to yet be engaging with.
Destiny, visually it's a masterwork in it's own, even if they can't place trees down right. The improvement the game has had since Destiny 1, the advancements are truly there.
Programming and mechanics wise, it's there.. Not all there, but it's there. Balancing is an issue, but it always will be, you can't really perfect it, as something will always break in the process... Yes, I'm looking at you Telesto!
I've never been a good PvP player, and mostly that's down to me having a skill issue haha. But I also know it's down to my Genetics that wreck my hand eye coordination or I briefly forget my control scheme.
But this year, Lightfall it looks beautiful. And I'm really looking forward to it. I'm setting time aside for it, as I have pretty much completed my University work with high marks.
Lastly!
I know this year of Destiny there are three things I want to get done.
1. Complete a Master Raid
2. Complete a Master Dungeon
3. Go Flawless on Trials for the first time.
Practice makes perfect at the end of the day!
Have a great day, and see you on the battlefield of Neomuna Guardian!

Ignore the negative posts, only keep focused on the positive one. There are some people you just cannot fix unfortunately. Have a great day! ^^

I’ve had a parent with cancer, but not to the degree of your father. Wish you the best of luck

My word Guardians, this is amazing! Thank you all for your responses, I did manage to take a break from Destiny during Season of the Seraph when I had a prototype to design and reveal. I understand Bungie's latest Campaign has been a flop and the Mod system is getting some mixed reviews, I'm sure Bungie will eventually nail it one way or another! Aside from that, I appreciate every comment that's been made. My phone was going nuts with the number of notifications while I was in a tutorial session haha. So, now it'll be the waiting game to see what the Witness does next. And what the Final Shape will truly become... A square? Have an awesome day Guardian! ^^

1 ReplyIf you take really long breaks from Destiny, like players who stop playing for a year and then come back, sure, this holds water. It's true of anything. It's the people who play day to day that are always irritated. And it's simply because this game doesn't work day to day. It's probably true of anything you do daily. It eventually becomes tedious. If you went to the beach everyday, after a year you'd be like damn, the beach never changes, wtf, this is boring.

With all the changes I think you will hate this version. Being honest.

2 RepliesEdited by Auronio: 2/27/2023 12:12:30 PMYou are positive! Even writing positive posts. In a world where cancel culture has become accepted as part of social interaction, almost en vogue. What's wrong with you? ;-) Well written.

I wish you many lucks on getting flawless in Trials. I have sold my soul and time to trials and made no profit of it, never went flawless in the 3 years I started playing D2.
