Valve literally made it as easy as checking a box.
It’s mind boggling to me how Bungie won’t allow Destiny to be played on the Steam Deck on SteamOS especially how easy Valve made enabling Anti Cheat as simple as checking a box, it’s not come complicated act. Just do it already Bungie.

3 RepliesNo. Bungie has a whole system of anti-cheat and anti-ddoss systems in place which forcing D2 to work on another OS would bypass. Also D2 on PC was created ONLY for Windows and there are not enough Linux users to justify the time and money needed to create and support another OS. SteamDeck can use Windows so use that instead of using emulator programs like Wine to force D2 to play on a OS it was not created for.
