For 8 years players have been asking them to adjust the blues, and they use it as bait to help sell LF so they could say for the thousandth time "see, we are listing, your feedback is lauder and clear". Oh no, I'm not done yet! The best one for last. 8 years players have been asking this business if they could add a system to skip the campaign after running it one time with the other characters, giving this business 8 years of feedback on how they can add this without paying for it. What does this business do to show that respect that "they are listening to the feedback, and say were hear you loud and clear"? They deliberately miss-handled that feedback to make a profit off of it. I'm wondering when they are going to use character customization that also has been asked for, for 8 years now as well that players shouldn't have to pay for it, but this business will use it to help sell one of their tiny barebone "expansions" and monetize it. Wait, I got it! I know how you can get them to add it. Ask to monetize it. I'm sure that will motivate them.

1 ReplyTBH i reckon its more to do with player visibility, a gaurdian thats entirely black would be very hard to spot in dark areas in pvp and would end up getting abused somehow, complainta roll in then bungie nerf it, this isnt to say some shaders we have can kinda do that already but an all black one would definitely make it much harder to see them.

2 RepliesI’d be happy if they allowed us to change which colors the shader displays. Ie. A shader has 4 colors but only two are displayed on an armor piece. You can either invert the two colors or switch to the other two colors. It would open up many more opportunities for customization and make it easier to make your character match. It wouldn’t be easier than just equipping an all black shader, but it would be easier than we have now and a fair compromise. Since bungie has stated they don’t want to implement an all black shader because they know that’s the only shader that the majority of players will ever use going forward.

But than an enormous amount of players wouldn't care about shaders anymore. Shaders represent $ and playtime. Brightdust and silver. Players looking for the right shader to become as dark as posible is inflated playtime. Don't get me wrong! I would love an all black shader, but bungo proberly not because of those reasons.
