The fact you need to play competitive or win nearly 50 casual matches, without losing or leaving, for one reset is stupid.

Edited by NotCreative123: 2/27/2023 4:04:52 AMPlay Comp to get a rep multiplier. Then win games to get a streak multiplier. It doesn't take that long to rank up Also, what exactly are you hoping to get by playing Crucible? The primary incentive to play is to enjoy yourself, and there's practically no meaningful rewards

Next you have to watch twitch streamers play to earn rep.

No doubt. Especially when you gotta quit 80% of matches just to get teammates.

I agree mainly because there are zero rewards in comp. I love this game but I swear the people making it sometimes do things that almost convince me they have room-temperature IQs. Zero rewards in a competitive mode — in a looter-shooter?!?! What the -blam!- were they thinking? 🤦🏻♂️

They didn’t touch crucible rank ups, a win this season is the same Rep as one last season. They did reduce the Bonus Rep week multiplier from 2x to 1.5x (a 25% reduction in rep gains each match) However, they also give bonus Crucible Rep based on your Comp rank at all times. This means that if you’re gold or higher you’re actually earn the same amount on those Double Rep weeks. I didn’t even purposefully grind crucible this season and got 4 rank resets while being hard-stuck in Silver…

3 RepliesEh, it's not too bad. Turn on some tunes, a podcast, YouTube video, let it play and get killed in crucible at the same time. Usually works out for me.

5 RepliesWhat lol? There’s nothing wrong with Crucible rep gains. I’ve reset my rank approximately six times this season and I play very little PvP in comparison to my time spent in PvE. I do pinnacles, some IB, some Trials, and this season in particular I played a bit of Comp to get the seal. There are also multiple increased rep gain weeks spread out throughout the season which makes ranking up extremely easy during said weeks. Plus if you actually keep playing and not quitting out of matches you get the added bonus via the x5 streak.

Not impossible tho.
