i looked up the symbology of an 8-pointed star and found some mesopotamian cultural references. this symbol was associated with the goddess ishtar/inanna who was linked to venus and called the queen of heaven... queen of hearts... mother nature personified. -

Traveler = Gardner a person who tends and cultivates a garden as a pastime or for a living. Witness = Winnower a person who separates desirable and undesirable elements (Sword Logic)

15 RepliesIt punched a hole in a Pyramid, that brought a smile to my face. The Traveller DID choose to make a stand.

8 RepliesEdited by BOSSNONO254: 2/23/2023 10:35:51 PMIt makes me wonder if the traveler itself is a vessel with immense power that is generated from a powerful force within. This force can be one being, or a collective of beings. I always wondered ever since Red War, if the traveler itself was actually just a ship. Because of the mechanical hardware you can see around the shard of the traveler.

6 RepliesI thought we knew this from when the Traveler fired at the Pyramid chasing the colony ship young Mara Sov was on and the Distributary was made? ⚪️

Are we gonna talk about this?
The Traveller is actually God's golf ball. The Witness is his caddy. He just wants his ball back.

Revan might have played a paracausal part with that. Just sayin.

Edited by SuperKingzach12: 2/24/2023 7:28:16 PMI’m sick of the traveller crap the traveller was supposed to destroy the prymid ships instead of doing nothing in the trailer let the prymids just make a formation around the traveller without doing anything

1 ReplyLore readers knew this already.

1 ReplyEdited by Centaur-1: 2/24/2023 12:37:10 AMWhat’s even more interesting is that flowers seemed to grow on the pyramid where the Traveler hit it, like how Mercury used to look before the Vex changed it, and the garden where we first met the Witness in the Lunar Pyramid. Makes me wonder about the Witness’s relationship with the light. In a structure created by darkness, how do we get to a garden supposedly created by the light? According to Savathûn, the Witness isn’t the darkness, but he does seemingly bend it to his will. Could he do the same with the light? After all, he is able to possess our ghost seemingly whenever he wants. Maybe he believes that is how one becomes the Final Shape, by controlling both sides of paracausality. Sorry for going a bit off the rails, but I’m sure the flowers mean something.

5 RepliesEdited by Guardian, Archon Of Light: 2/24/2023 5:38:03 AMNo need to talk about it, on the trailer we see 5 pyramids encircling the Traveler Bungies clown writers killed the only thing that makes Destiny Destiny

Those pyramids around the Traveller reminds me of the Allmighty ring the cabal used to disable the light.

Maaaan, if we don't get a light saber, i'm going to be very disappointed. The Traveler going full Death Star on the Witness was a surprise. 🤣 All that is missing are the Reapers from Mass Effect to really make us Guardians feel like ants with light powers. The Witness has smoke for a hat & it can walk in Space. What a Chad/Chadette.

Try saying that clovis was right now, BINCH!
this is not directed at you, OP, but at the people saying clovis was right.
Check out the “light” symbol from Vow and compare the scene with the pyramids making a star pattern around the Traveler. Wonder what other story beats are included in the symbols. https://imgur.com/ifapx8f
