It's asinine that they would force you off the game to find players. If it's a requirement to complete activities of a game, they should provide you with the means to complete it within the game. End of story. And they've refused to tackle it for 8.5 years. It's like when they create a site to discuss the game, and then instead post all their info on Twitter.

In game LFG coming this year better late then never. It was easy on PS until someone at Sony decided it was a gd idea to delete community forums yet say sh*t that they want players to be able to communicate more on they platform 😒 say that to PS Home and community forums

wanna raid? wanna do end game content, make friends, like the rest of us who raid or run dungeons on a regular basis do. Get out of your comfort zone, be a genuine good person, and maybe people will want to help teach you. Matchmaking with new lights in strikes is bad enough. But at least I can do that content solo. Dragging someone who contributes about as much to society as Justin Bieber through a raid - that's hours of my life I will not get back.

My point is, they're focusing on the wrong stuff.[/quote] With 0 raid completions, I imagine the "people you talk to" also have 0 raid completions, so none of you understand why matchmaking in high tier activities is a bad idea. So, I'll make a foolish attempt to explain it. Because they have mechanics. And what's going to happen is that 0 clear new lights like you are going to matchmake in, have no idea what you're doing, and cause wipes, cause the raid to take hours, have no mic, and basically not contribute anything. That makes raiding a miserable experience for those of us who took the effort to make friends and finish cooperative activities. Tl Dr Nobody wants to drag a tantrum-throwing new light through multi-encounter activities while they do nothing. - Make friends, learn how to raid. If you want people to drag you through, then pay them, because that's a service. Can't force people to play with you. That's not how online gaming works. Maybe be less of a jerk to people. Based on your responses, it's pretty clear you're just angry and you want to take it out on other people. It's no small wonder you're having such a hard time making friends.

In the time you created this post you could have made an lfg for the raid of your choice.

I wish they would open matchmaking for everything for just one day. That is all it would take to make the entire community realize how bad of an idea it is. You think it takes a long time to get a raid team together via LFG. Try running one with five randoms. You may get three with no mics, two who can’t run and shoot at the same time, another that is afk, just looking for the free rewards, one that doesn’t speak the same language as the rest of the team, one that is eight years old and you can hear their mother yelling at them to clean their room in the background. It would be a disaster.

It's 2023 and you're STILL complaining about something that takes 3 minutes to set up/use to find a group? Get over yourself..

Its what happens when many players dont know any better and are merely happy to settle for the low bar.

The don't call it the "Companion App" for nothing. LFG will always be better than random matchmaking, especially for raids. I believe there are plans to introduce in game LFG systems soon.

It's a joke that people complain about the dumbest things. Don't forget, we're getting an in-game LFG later in the year, don't forget to complain about that too.

Isn't in game LFG coming towards the end of next seasons 3rd season? Does suck it's a long way away but if it's not done right it would be kinda trash anyway. I don't personally mind using the app to LFG, it has a good setup TBH.

Am I insane or are there literally no smart Destiny players? They said in game LFG was coming with lightfall. They said this almost 6 months ago. Unless some new blog post came out in the last day saying they scrapped that entire idea, in game LFG is STILL coming next week.

They don't do, only redo. Also, everything they redo breaks everything. Then they undo until such time as they feel fit to redo. Then they redo that.
