Back in the Forsaken/Shadowkeep era you were able to charge up supers so quickly that you'd get maybe 3-4 supers in a control match in crucible. Ontop of already getting at least 2 supers a match if you coordinated well with your team you could chain them to generate orbs of light to have even more supers
Supers feel irrelevant, abilities feel more like a super than super does. You throw a grenade every 2-3 minutes and then run around with gunplay for another 6 until you're able to use your super once. Usually it's ineffective because most supers are already; in pve out-damaged by weapons or in pvp worse than continuing with gunplay. If you pop a super everybody hears the sound effect, knows where you are, and depending on the situation will either focus you or run away.
There's already so much counterplay created to just even using a super, and now we get one once a match, maybe 2-3 depending on your build and if you're lucky. When I used a super it was always a 'risk it all' moment and that's when the game was the most fun for me.
