The elephant in the room: Is Lightfall(deluxe) Worth $100?
I will wait til the end of 2023 whereit will be on discounted on steam..
The new supers looks like reskins..and the campaign will be 8-10 hours max that most players will finish day 1
No pvp maps except one..
Why is it 100$?

For P.C. g2a has lightfall for 43$ and lightfall+ annual pass for 87$. For xbox g2a has it for 47$

£40 for the base and £80 for deluxe is expensive and the choice of if it is worth it is different from person-to-person

I’m unsure. Usually when I’m unsure I don’t buy the dlc. Bungie does that a lot. One dlc I know the value, the next one something feel off. Hope I’m wrong.

No. Considering how bad this past year's seasons were, I canceled my preorder. I won an Xbox gift card at work, so I'll probably buy Lightfall, but no seasons until Bungie increases their quality dramatically.

If it was D1 id say yes because you know the content would stay, D2 is a different beast with its nonsense "sunsetting" where they just to sell it back to you again a year or 2 later. Also seasons are sh*t and dont belong in this game, leave that crap to CoD and fortnite and the idiots that buy that same game from the same company year after every year.

1 ReplyI'm guessing it personal really for me definitely i play this game atleast 1-3 times a week during "lowtimes" and in beginning of seasons and for 2ish months I play almost every day so: 100÷12=8ish a month which for me is more than worth it 😅 as some games i buy for anywhere between 30-70 and only get about 40-100h gametime out of. Not that 40+h a game is bad not at all but that says quite alot of how enjoyable I find destiny to be 🤣

It’s not $100 for lightfall. It’s $100 for lightfall and the annual pass. Lightfall on its own is only $50

2 RepliesNo, it’s not worth $100. That’s why lightfall only costs $40. Each of the 4 seasons are $10 each, and same with the two new dungeons. You’re not buying lightfall for $100. You’re buying the whole year, just like the Witch Queen.

It's a year worth of content.. In UK money it's about 27p a day.. its nothing.

If you count all the expenses together, yes. Lightfall itself is 60. Add 40 onto that for each season. Add 20 onto that for both dungeons. 120 compared to 100 is technically more valuable.

Ive brought all expansions preordered from d1 and up to witch queen but this one with what's being offered ain't worth the coin to me. It doesn't offer much like the previous expansions. And before anyone comes for me I have over 300 plus games on psn and 500 plus on xbox no game passes i have a job.

The only way to answer that is AFTER it is released and we can see if it is any good or not. Ps. There is also a matter of personal opinion as some will like no matter what but there are those who will hate just because of what they think.
