Installing destiny 2 update everyday
Everyday since the most recent update I have had to download it when I sign in the one with 738 mb, not sure if there a fix for this?

3 RepliesThis is something I did that fix the problem for me on xbox ,can't say this is a fix but it seem to work. if you are ask to download again, stop the download and try the following. Settings - Device and connections - blu-ray Click on Persistent storage and clear it. Do hard reset then open Destiny 2 and redownload the update.

Servers go offline on Monday for the DLC launch, it's not getting fixed.

Im on steam and have had to verify my game files before logging in every day for the last week. Something is 100% broken on destiny's server host side.

I’m on my third time downloading the recent 738.87 MB in game update in the past two days. Winter weather caused power to go out 2-3 times. But the update had already been installed so I’m lost as to why this is occurring. Beyond frustrating waiting for this. Especially when my internet speed should have this downloaded in less than a minute.

Same for me. The run up to new dlc usually has some bugs as they do whatever but it is pretty inconvenient to have to download an update each time I play. I mean the download speed as well lol what on Earth??

Same. It seems to be after a certain time because I came home during lunch and played a bit, about 2:00 CST but have to instal now at 5:30CST.

1 ReplyI've had the same issue and there seems to be no fix around the corner. Sad since I was actually considering buying the expensive Lightfall expansion, but it really makes me second guess whether it would be money well spent or just wasted on a myriad of bugs unforetold. Bungie, you're losing gamers because of this bullshit.
