  • I did report the player . Not sure what guidelines it falls under. That being said , there is a bigger conversation that Bungie should have with us . It is easy to turn a blind eye to the situation and say one off comments we have all heard before . We get nothing in the form of permanent solutions or a path towards justice . Direct communication is needed . With a plan of action .

For security reasons, this information will never be shared. It would do a lot more harm than good.

  • Security reasons ? I am not sure what security has to do with banning scammers . Maybe you think I am asking for Ip addresses or something? I am only searching for justice . Because just throwing out community guidelines is -- lazy.

  • Until people wake up and stop paying others to play with them or worse for them there will always be those who will scam them. You paying someone to play with you to "carry" you through activities you are not yet good enough to play is your fault if that person scams you. These are not companies. Even the so called companies are just a computer server sending you to someone who signed up to do paid services. They are not monitored in any way. These people are not supported or endorsed by Bungie who in fact spends alot of time removing the advertising they try to do on Bungie.net. So you come crying to Bungie demanding that something is done when the true blame is you for doing something that common sense would tell you not to do.

  • It was inevitable that this kind of comment hit my thread. Honestly , I felt the same way cyber . But at the end of the day, people WON'T stop . So what does that mean for Bungie ? What does that mean for the player base ? If say 10% of the people get burned , how many put the game down , don't buy expansions and don't ever come back ? I have no idea . Bungie really doesn't either . But you know what does keep people playing ? Something Bungie has done really well. Interacting with their community of players . Except , on this particular topic . Community guide lines are great, and haha's from other players who sit on their high horses are typical . Opportunity is often missed because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work . --Thomas Edison
