So just making sure, is Clovis Bray permanently deleted/dead at this point?
What possibility is there Rasputin copied itself and it might reappear in the future?
Elsie (Exo Stranger) says it was “all too familiar” when Erimis was about to fire the Warsats against the Traveler. How is she able to change timelines?

Clovis will probably come back as a seasonal figure somewhere in lightfall seasons. Because I doubt he’ll be in LF story at all.

12 RepliesLike people pointed out, Clovis is still the AI on Europa and is alive. He is pretty much locked there so he doesn't have much influence about anything else for now. Can you explain your Elsie question? She's saying it is familiar because the Traveler fled humanity back then too. There was also the bombardment but in the Dark Future warsats were not deployed against the Traveler. She is able to change timelines by loop resets and changing outcomes by trying different things for different loops. Some things seem to be fixed points which she can't change no matter how much she tries.

He's not dead, he fled back to Europa and will even call you out if you get the Europa battleground.

banshee-44 is kinda clovis, the least corrupt version at least.

The Clovis AI is still on Europa, but Clovis himself is in the tower in the form of Bsnshee-44.

1 ReplyHe is not dead. He is back on Europa in that big head.

If you do battleground europa after the story, he's alive and well. He has dialogue. He controls everything on Europe. The dialogue on all three is pretty good.

So just making sure, is Clovis Bray permanently deleted/dead at this point?
No. Clovis's AI was removed from the frame when Rasputin integrated into it, but his AI was also still backed up in the Deep Stone Crypt. If you do Heist Europa after Rasputin takes control of the frame, Clovis's AI sends you a scathing message about the ordeal.
What possibility is there Rasputin copied itself and it might reappear in the future?
Given the circumstances, highly unlikely. He would've likely mentioned this if it was possible to do so. Plus, having another permanent death adds more emotional impact to the story, especially considering how powerful Rasputin was.
Elsie (Exo Stranger) says it was “all too familiar” when Erimis was about to fire the Warsats against the Traveler. How is she able to change timelines?
I was under the impression that the Traveler continually looped her back in time until she found a future where they win.

She doesn’t change timelines. The Traveler is sending her back in time. All the other timelines we’ve ever seen as literal ‘what if’ branches. They are useless.
