Vidoc felt a bit flat…?
Is it just me or compared to previous vidocs the vibe was a bit flat? I mean there didnt seem to be as much wonder and excitement oozing from the Bungie team as previous years. It seemed like they were more just presenting facts.
Know what I mean?
Maybe they are trying to avoid over hyping it?

I thought it was just fine. Then again I'm not really looking for reasons to get angry about it. I'm ready to dig into Lightfall. I'm not stupid, so I realize there will be some things I won't care for, but I know that overall I will get enough enjoyment to make it worth it.

They had a guy by the tree and a guy in one of the spawns with last word and the individual said you can now hit him! Proceeded to not be able to hit him because that's way outside of last words range. Was very apparent they don't play their own game.

I don't know, they didn't seem too excited in the Beyond Light vidoc I remember one developer saying how Europa was the most dynamic video game environment she's ever seen, and she said it with all the enthusiasm of someone who lost a lawsuit and had to say it or be fined -
They all look tired of making Destiny 2.

2 RepliesDon't know what you guys watched. Great Vidoq, invasion, war, Witness, Calus, Neomuna etc just awesome. I still don't get how little humanity and few allies should defeat the enemy fleet considering they eradicated whole systems but here we go. Now I am hyped!

2 RepliesAll the people invited to the reveal a week earlier, got emails from bungie asking them to be not be too critical when they go public. Even bungie know it was a let down. It's filler year, it's rise of iron/shadowkeep 2.0

2 RepliesFor people who follow the twab and the YouTube clips it was basically re cap. Bungie isn't leaving much to the imagination with lightfall, every week new trailers, new exotics, looking at strand. All we need is a raid preview and that's the entirety of lightfall

Usually (using past D1 and D2 Vidoc's - Promos as a yardstick), the less effort they put into it the less they had to show. And Bungle did state to not expect them to "Over Deliver". So, I'm expecting maximum re-cycled content and minimal effort.
