Anyone else feel like Lightfall and season of Defiance is just a lot of copy and pasting?
After watching the Vidoc and some of the recent trailers, it seems like a lot of rehashing.
Warlocks get blade barrage 2.0
Titans get fist of havoc/behemoth 2.0
Hunters get arc strider 2.0
Then titans get khepris horn 2.0, all the legendary lightfall weapons seem like copy and pasted Shadow Keep weapons. Assets from the Red War campaign come back as season of Defiance content for the EDZ.
I hope I'm wrong, but I feel like this upcoming year will be underwhelming, which is sad since the Witch Queen DLC was pretty good and gave me high hopes for lightfall and final shape.

Destiny 2 is copy and paste....most of the people I started playing d1 with have left or didnt buy d2 solely because of that reason

1 ReplyI feel this. Probably because it IS a lot of copy paste. Ok, the story may be progressing but lets me real here; we're going to play for a few weeks and reach the season cap. In that time we are going to grind through the entire gammit of crucible, gambit and vanguard maps. All in an effort to reach new heights. And when we achieve such a thing, what do we do? The same Vanguards, Crucibles and Gambits that we have seen 500 times, only this time... "harder". And the rewards are sub par. We need exclusive end game content for high level players that other players have not seen, with drops that cannot be obtained. And frankly we should have some kind of open world PVP. Trust me, wandering around there totally beats sitting in orbit for 4 hours wondering whether or not you want to do the glassway again for 500 times for ascendant shards you have no use for.

From what they said sounds like the core playlist not getting anything major plus they not gonna increase the power cap in season 21 which is season of the deep. We getting two pvp maps this year a few new crucible game modes an quality of life updates but yeah they already working on next year content so whatever we get this year we just gotta deal with it. 🤣

100% every game you play these days is a rip or copy of something 🤷♂️ that argument can literally be translated to anything, however titan super is 100% a rip of hunter spec blades but obviously a downgraded version, unfortunately, lock is more like shatter bomb from d1 but with critters, hunter to no surprise is the only one that resembles something new, but again bumgo are full of hunter mains.

1 ReplyI would like to see after Lightfall; the return of 2 yearly add on dlc’s to accompany Final Shape and do away with the four seasonal activities altogether, even if it involves paying a little more. For sure seasonal content is fine and cheap to purchase but it’s low quality forgettable rinse and repeat content.

I don’t think it’s possible, but it would be cool if as the new Titan you could claw climb stuff like wolverine. From the 90s cartoon, those times where he went up a Sentinel in a furious rage over his dead comrade was awesome.

The whole seasonal content has been copy paste, the vendor for the seasonal rewards is just a copy paste system with a different color design.

5 RepliesBlade barrage made minions? Arcstrider has that much range with explosions on kill? I guess you see what you want to. I really understand criticism for titans this time around, but to call threadrunner and Broodweaver reskins is reaching pretty hard lmao.
