Lightfall exotics...
... best not be locked behind sodding lost sectors.
This has gone on too long, im a vet player and even I can see they are a massive hinderance to new players, not as bad for old players but can still be annoying.
Yes the lost sectors having a challenging option was a good thing but locking the seasonal exotics behind them was one of the worst decisions you made regarding loot drops, surely there is other loot you could add, not just because of the RnG (you can do 100 runs and end up with shards or an exotic you already have) or running solo but also because of the power level requirement.
Add them to nightfalls, raid enemies, comp, hell even gambit. Not having them as world drops but as challenging rewards, some of the lost sectors on legend can be insane when your underlevelled. Meaning if you start late in the season, you have a stupidly low chance of even trying.

As suggested below by [b]FluffyBunnyFeet[/b] add the exotics to group master lost sectors aswell, thats it one small addition it would take less than a day to to add that in the background as you can change rewards quite quickly from what ive seen over the years. The lost sectors would be full of gaurdians chilling in groups together.
Maybe later down the line add emblems, cosmetics and flairs to doing them solo master.

I shouldn't have to close my fireteam, ignore my friends, and play solo to get the latest exotic piece of armor with each new season, instead of playing together and enjoying the new content with my fireteam. If anything in my opinion, Legend and Master lost sectors should be the place to farm glass needles, and you would have new exotics drop elsewhere, giving you that excitement when you see an exotic engram pop out of an enemy.

Same as every other year. 1 exotic from heroic campaign completion. Then the other one from either lost sector or what bungie puts it in.

My guess is they will do what they did with WQ. If you do the campaign on hard you get to chose from the new exotics at the end -- if there are multiple to choose from. After that they will be put in LS as usual because they have mentioned they want to rework that area but I don't think it's happening anytime soon. You've been warned.

it will be lock in Lost Sector, when you run Lost sector you will get new Exotic First that lock it either lucky/unlucky stat.

Seems like they are moving away from that and putting them back into Strikes and what not.

I think that the best way to get new Exotics is doing L.S. I have very good expiriences doing them. I farmed them all for all 3 of the characters, so when Lightfall commes out i will have them fast. Was ready to do that passed season, but there where no new Exotics (that was a bummer but ok)
