Every class has about 3-4 exotics that are endgame viable out of a list of 37 exotics, we need massive reworks so each exotic feels rewarding to use, while opening many more avenues for build crafting rather than the same 3 builds each season.

Finally decided to make a Warlock again and I feel Titan and Warlock(mostly Warlock) struggle with focused and purposeful exotics. They have some decent ones but others(and this is true for all three classes) are basically attributable to a slightly powerful mod or aspect. That’s it.

Sanguine Alchemy-AoE effect on activation for all subclasses. For Solar it Scorches, For Void it Does Volatile Knockback, For Arc it Shocks (vesper of radius shock) , For Stasis it freezes. 2 options for Blood Magic to take effect Option 1: Being Surrounded Charges your rift faster (vesper of radius). Option 2: While standing in any rift Kills extend the time and the subclass effect reactivates for every 2-3 kills and higher tier enemies reactivates immediately. (original blood magic with a twist) Well of Radiance works with this and possible addition of Stunning Anti Barriers. Vesper of Radius-Casting rift Jolts targets and enemies killed by Jolts charges the rift faster and charges it up with Torrent (up to 3) and on any stack of Torrent it Jolts and Blinds targets. 2 Options for Torrent Stacks. Upon each stack… Option 1: Torrent widens the Jolt and Blind Radius. Option 2: Torrent increases dmg AoE of Jolt and Lengthens Blindness. Ability Jolt kills can charge rift faster or Weapon Jolt kills can charge it faster. 2 Options for Torrents Charge Option 1: Torrent would charge up by Jolt kills. Option 2: Torrent could charge up via Ionic Traces. I made Sanguine a mixture of Bombadiers while also trying to mix Vesper or It’s Current Ability. Vesper I just wanted it to sink inside Arc 3.0 and thrive.

Thing with exotics is the best ones have the most ease of use. Starfire for example or HoiL. Don't have to do anything specific just do what you normally do. Things like feedbacks just require too many specific things it's not worth using especially in endgame. The only thing that breaks this mold is aeons but that's bc ammo economy is terrible

Was a bit disappointed with how little exotics changed this season, I had believed bungie was going to rework most exotics but it was more or less small changes. As a titan main it’s been a bit boring using HOIL for everything, yeah there’s some decent exotics that are viable but nowhere near as powerful. I’d like more varied builds to use so hopefully we get some changes in LF

5 RepliesWarlocks have always had some of the most consistently uncreative exotics and honestly with some of the new fragments they’re adding, they’re going to have to do complete and total reworks or overhaul to exotics like vesper radius considering how un diversified the meta is in terms of exotic usage they really need to take a crack at a lot of the exotics.

50 RepliesEdited by Avoodle Kadoodle Noodle: 2/15/2023 12:58:47 PMYeah no if you actually learn how to build and not just use “meta” then you would know that there’s more than just 3-4 exotic armor that is “end game” viable. “Warlocks have around 14 end game viable exotics to use, Titans have around 16 end game viable exotics to use, and Hunters have around 18 end game viable exotics to use.” This to me just sounds like you don’t know how to build properly and only go off of what people say are “meta”. I’m not saying that they don’t need to update some of the exotics. They most definitely do but don’t act like there’s only 3-4 exotics end game viable for each class.
