Since u guys are reducing craftable weapons and we get to hoard more weapons since now they will have rando Enchanced perks. Have u guys thought about what it will do to vault space ???
Have you guys considered giving 150-250 or 300/200 per major expansion to account for a year worth of content ?

1 ReplyThey should give use more vault space every season and dlc. Most of the stuff we get have random rolls where you can't get it from the collections. Another thing they could do is let us pick what rolls we already got on the gear in the collections.

1 ReplyHow does everyone not understand ? it has been said before they can not increase vault space because of the old generation versions of the game.
-
1 ReplyTbh you don’t need more vault space. People who want more space 99.9/100 times have their vaults full of junk they can get rid of.

Edited by SaintX: 2/16/2023 11:53:28 AMMaster raid weapon will have rando enhanced perk to put them more in line with crafted weapons, not crafted weapons in general. Also they arnt making it hard for red borders to drop there making it to where when a red border drops you know 100% its a weapon that can be crafted. Also its your vault delete some -blam!-. You probably have a few sunset weapons in there for some reason as well as a tooth brush from like years ago.

1 ReplyBungie has already doubled the vault space then added a extra 100 spaces. D2 already has more storage than any RPG and MMO and you want more??? Even if Bungie did provide extra space how long would it be until you have filled it up again and come back asking for more? No this is not a matter of vault space but of you needing to learn items management skills.

ignore everybody saying it wont happen, they literally mentioned that they were working on increasing the vault space further when they announced the increase to 600. it seems to be a server limitation thing that requires some optimizations and such before increasing the number.

16 RepliesHave you considered not hoarding garbage?

17 RepliesHoarder moment

1 ReplyBungie gave us more vault space. Twice. I would hope that we won't get anymore. It's 600.
-
2 RepliesI'm good on vault space now since I don't have to have 100+ deepsight weapons for resources anymore. Down to 345 in my vault and shortly before lightfall will be under 300 items once I dismantle all my infusion items.
-
1 ReplyInfinite vault.
-
1 ReplyI seriously doubt it. They removed all the planetary materials and replaced everything with Glimmer - but then neglected to increase the Glimmer Cap. So I expect the same BS treatment with the Vault.
-
1 ReplyThey could just utilize the already existing Collections page and allow us to save one roll for each weapon to be collected whenever we’d like. Charge us leg. shards or glimmer, whatever. It that might make it easier for some people to delete old weapons that they may be holding in the event it becomes viable again. Just my opinion, and a random idea.

1 ReplyCrafted weapons imho should share a single source of truth for levels. What I mean is that all crafted weapons are already listed as an array, simply add all level progress as a prop to that object. That way players can freely delete crafted weapons they are no longer using which in turn frees up vault space. Of course they would have to spend resources again to enhance that weapon but no re-grinding of levels. Furthermore, reacquired exotics weapons(only) from the exotic tab should be at current level, that way players can also delete exotic weapons and free up vault space.
-
1 ReplyI want gun type tabs like in the patterns I want full control over my vault The sorting options are very messy

4 RepliesIf you’re capped out on vault space then your vault is full of garbage.
-
1 ReplyThey are min maxing server cost. Obviously they won't give us more space. What gave you the idea that Bungie isn't a capitalistic, greedy company? They milk their players while not investing remotely enough of it back into the game. So yea, we had to do like 50.000 request posts through the span of 4 years until they finally gave in giving us 100 spaces. After 4 years of content with ZERO more space. Hate to destroy your hopes but not happening with Bungie sadly.
-
6 RepliesYeah they did and the answer is no lol. We have more than enough now. People hold on to so much crap they never use and then get mad when it becomes a problem lol.
-
IMHO: Vault space is fine, they just upgraded it to 600 not too long ago. You don’t have to keep every weapon or armor piece.
-
Let's say you have 1 Build per Class, Per Mode. Strikes NF Crucible Trials Gambit Raid That's 5 PCs per Character (if 3) so total Minimum of 90 Armor PCs (assuming you use different class ones) Now, the only Multiple Builds I see are for Raids, since they give Extra slots for mods. So you would have more. I'd say for all armor and raids, minimum you really need 200, Just for Basic Loadouts. A casual player would need less. As for weapons, You can easily disregard most exotics once they go to your collection. I typically only have the ones I use the most or am working on catalysts for. So Exotic Weapons can be dismantled and pull out when ever and just infused back to lvl. Exotic Armor is a different story and most are kept due to stats. So, overall 400 seems just right. That leaves 200 for whatever else.
-
Armor is more of a problem then weapons for vaults. Excluding exotics you only need 300 or less weapons.
-
So I am actually going into my vault and deleting all my armor. I have a set for each class that gives two 100s. so thats 36 Pcs each ( minus the class items as I tend to use the same for all builds for each class ) So Im going to go, delete everything and start fresh with lightfall. Besides any Raid/Exotic armor, everything is going. That willl give me 400 empty spots.
-
Easy fix. Delete items you don't use.
-
11 RepliesOdds are you are hoarding junk, take a good look at hiw many guns you actually use almost garuntee its no more than like 10 or 15
-
Just dismantle old stuff that’s lost it’s purpose to you. You can’t possibly have hundreds of weapons that are truly worth keeping.
