I know a common topic of feedback has been "Add more content to the core playlists!". Which I agree with! But that of course takes time and Bungie might be focused on making different types of content atm.
1. Add the -5 light level modifier.
I came for a game where I fight aliens. Not a game where I get to have a scenic walk through of whatever the strike location is. Every thing dies so instantaneously there is no fun to be had, it's just checking off my chore list.
2. Stop requiring matching subclasses to the burn.
I think this has already been said enough by others on here. But we would like to play our way. It's frustrating that I can't try out a new build while also making progress on my weeklies. Just stop it.
Now check that out! 2 easy changes that require essentially ZERO effort. While new strikes will always be appreciated, there are plenty of great strikes that already exist! Small changes like this is all it would take to make players give a damn.

Edited by Daffy, The Disappointed: 2/13/2023 1:31:40 PMHow about adding rewards? I don’t think anyone wants a harder strike playlist with no loot.

Remember when you had to match the other players' element? Lol...people would change at the last second so you wouldn't even get progress. Point is....these devs aren't the brightest.

Solo - disable matchmaking

2 RepliesNothing like having a bounty to get void ability kills during solar week But I agree, enemies should be at the hardcap with champions and negative modifiers like attrition or glass And to compensate for the increase in difficulty, strike completions can drop any nightfall weapon and or exotic armor and Shards and prisms and modules

The light level modifier would essentially bring back the "Heroic Strike" playlist. I am 100% okay with that.

9 RepliesYou can definitely try whatever build you want. Just switch to the burn after killing the boss. Not rocket science

1 ReplyThey should have 2 playlists, one for below soft cap and one for above. How fun could it be for a new player to watch me get 150 kills to their 25.

It's such a little thing, but Strike Scoring (and corresponding medals/achievements for doing different things) really makes the D1 strikes pop compared to D2 strikes. Hell, it helped make the last Guardian Games actually enjoyable.

It never made sense to me why strikes still give a pinnacle but regular seasonal activity don't. Then I realized no one would run strikes if there wasn't some kind of carrot. Next I wondered, does the game even need a regular strikes playlist? I don't think it does. It's too easy, the strikes are all old and a lot of people are sick of them. I think the seasonal activity should be the vanguard ops, and the strike should just be the featured NF. I know that raises some immediate questions about seasonal characters being the vendor and blah, blah, blah, and I don't care to answer those because, it's not like I want to design the game for Bungie, I just think it's all split up into too many activities.

Funny how they did ues modifier in D1 but never have in D2 that I know of. A lot of things that actually worked out for D1 were never applied to D2, and that is why a lot of players are sick of the just the strike playlist alone. This business needs people that actually know how to design a game. That knows what can help keep things fresh sorta speak because this game is lifeless at the moment and has been for 4 years now on the way they have been designing it.
