Playing solo playlist but unlike other boosters like in strikes, crucible, gambit and iron banner the Trials booster is barely giving you points.

It is based off of games and rounds won. I think +5 per round win on normal, so if you get up to the max 20 rounds, you have a guaranteed +200 per game with just the rounds won. The more wins you have the better too. It is slow to start but it picks up.

6 RepliesTrials ranks require some effort… Unfortunately… To get as much rank as you can get, you need to get 7 wins on your card (flawed card or not) and get 50 round wins for that week. However… I’m going to say this one important detail… Trials is practically a dead playlist right now. Despite your belief of freelance attracting players, it actually doesn’t bring all that many people back to the playlist. It’s more or less STILL run by the sweat community. More or less, the only solos left playing are practically the worst of the worst in the entire game, and sweats very commonly enter freelance, as it’s usually FAR easier for them to get flawless that week in the solo playlist. Can I make a suggestion? Quit trials. Never play it again. Not for new gear. Not for freelance. NEVER play it again. Skill creep has practically destroyed the playlist. Even week 1 of trials for the past couple of seasons has had a rather low population. The revamp was more or less a complete failure. It failed to keep people playing long term, like EVERY SINGLE ATTEMPT THEY MADE BEFORE to save the playlist. It’s dead. It’s going to continue to have terrible matchmaking. I gave up any hope of ever competing in trials after watching a stream. I don’t find it appealing to play, and I TRULY don’t need that type of mental strain right now. I’m fine with my trials record remaining 0 and NEVER earning a single piece of trials gear. Bungie can argue inclusiveness all they want. I don’t feel any desire to be “included,” in such a difficult and toxic playlist.

2 RepliesAgreed. I got +11 on a loss. I tried 2 games. My season KDA is 1.2, so it’s gonna be rough. But with freelance, maybe I get decent team mates? Both games I was my teams best player( that’s sad for all of us), and the other team always had some dude running 9.0s or higher. Just too unbalanced. I know I’m in for a slow grind, but at +11 for a loss, it’s not worth the hours and hours it would take to complete the season seal. Bummer. I was really looking forwards to it.

1 ReplyFor rank points I’d just hold onto a 7 win card not worrying about flawless that way you should be able to reset twice during the week. It’s like 200+ points per win if I remember

2 RepliesIt gets better the more round wins you have for the current trials map, and i think wins on the card too. Currently with passage of wealth, i get about 600+ on a win, and 250-300 on a loss. Not horrid but it can be a hassle to get to a 7 win card for some players i know.

1 ReplyAm seeing some reasonable gains on a 7-win passage

1 ReplyIt should just be a set amount perstch completion regardless of win or loss. It's one of 100 reasons nobody plays Trials.

1 ReplyI've played two games and realize already that it's two games too many...

2 Repliesthe amount of 1.5 kd players and lower from season 12 who are now over 3.0 is mind boggling to me.

You get increased rewards based on the number of wins on your card. The goals are to: 1) Prevent loss-farming 2) Prevent win-farming at 1 win

9 RepliesIt's horrible. That's why I never played a single round and will not, untill they make rep gains the same as with Vanguard, etc.
