Crucible is horrible
Crucible is horrible and completely unfair for solo players, there is no reason to play Crucible if you have no one to play with you will just get completely screwed over because Bungie refuses to separate teams and solo players.
Separate the fireteams and solo players. Solo players should not play against or be on the same team as a fireteam it's not fair or fun.
Secondly skill based matchmaking should never put me against players so much better than me that I can't get a single kill, I admit that I am hot garbage at Crucible but at least give me a chance like dont put me up against John Wick when I suck. It is unfair like I know some people will tell me to get good but I at least need a fair shot but like come on its not fair when I get a zero kill game because I get just outclassed its not fun and not fair.

I jump in it to gild my Deadeye seal every season and I absolutely DREAD it. 5 games of constant instakilling. By the end of a match my eyes hurt from rolling them back saying "another 1 hit kill." It's honestly exhausting sitting from a position where I don't like using special weapons but C O N S T A N T L Y see's them in the feed. Don't understand why the devs have suuuuch a hardon for nonexistent ttks.

2 RepliesYou do realize that SBMM putting you against way better players is a player population issue right? This game has completely STRICT sbmm. It is way more strict than that of any other game i've ever seen before. And yet they call it "loose". Good one. It's just that the player population is horribly low and therefore you get matched with players from different skill deltas. Bungie should learn from that and stop letting their pvp mode die. Multiple new maps, desirable loot and a proper seperate, non frustrating, gunplay focused sandbox is needed. Maybe then the player population wouldn't be lower than that of counter strike 1.6 from 1999.

1. A number of gamemodes already seperate teams and solos. They're called freelance playlists. 2. Even in playlists that don't include a freelance mode, teams are still typically put up against other teams. You might have a 4-1-1 vs a 3-1-1-1, but that's close enough. If you lose there it's just because they played better than you. 3. This kind of mindless complaining about mechanics that you don't understand is the reason we're only getting 1 new PvP map. Bungie has learned from you and other people with similar attitudes that players simply don't enjoy Crucible. They have no reason to develop content for an activity that isn't played or enjoyed.

I mostly play solo ….pvp is what it is . There’s always going to be better players than you …that’s life . As soon as I see hand cannon /shotty or sniper it’s going to be the try hards so it’s all practice. Seeing a lot more hand cannons which we had as a meta for years …got boring fast and slow . Small doses of pvp is fine 🤷🏼♂️

I agree, it is hard to find one single game worth playing as a solo player like I am. Bungie gave up on us. I though CBMM was crap but this is even worse. They made a good step towards fairness in the game when they introduced proper SBMM last season, but that is so changed now that can hardly be called SBMM anymore But anyway, did you really expect Bungie to improve PVP??

3 RepliesWhich game mode are you talking about? I'm pretty sure Control has FBMM now, and I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm mistaken. Most modes already have SBMM. Even wirh SBMM, if you're a top or bottom player, it's nearly impossible to match you with players that are in your skill bracket.

Lobby balancing is the single worst issue in crucible and it completely ruins it. The fact Bungie is leaving it in the game is horrible. No changes will ever matter as long as their garbage lobby balancing that forces a 50% winrate is in the game.

Matchmaking is still not good enough. Population is quite low as the season is winding down. But still they need to put players in a fairer environment. Better to avoid crucible for now until lightfall.

I agree that Crucible is one of my least favorite multiplayer experiences as far as shooters go. But doing Crucible solo makes the experience worse, which is probably why I don’t like it. If you’re going into Crucible alone, lower your expectations of winning, and don’t take the losses seriously.
