It has been happening for a while now, sometimes when Im loading into a destination and open the character screen at the same time my PC black screens and restarts on its own, like it crashed. After trying a couple things and none working, I decided to live with it like "okay, just gotta check my inventory when I'm already loaded in somewhere"
Thing is, it recently started happening almost anywhere at random, and with increased frequency, now I can just be in orbit or in a seasonal activity or strike and my PC hard resets. On top of that, the game has started freezing and crashing on its own, without restarting the PC. As in, it freeze frames for a while and then screen to black. I'm forced to close the game via task manager as it seems it's the only thing that works. (I can still hear sound and people talking if I'm raiding, but the screen is black and no input is detected) My specs are well above the minimal requirement to play the game in all fronts. Despite of that I run the game on its lowest settings, even though when I jumped to PC I didn't have the crashing issues and played at high settings. I have checked the files integrity on steam and they're all good. I tried putting the game on top priority in the memory consumption via task manager. I tried separating some game files into another folder (which it was already it seemed)
Still nothing, I can't load up to any activity without the game or my whole PC just crashing and I don't know what to do. It feels as if I'm the only one with this problem, because when I look it up they all talk about lag and performance issues. Posting here in hopes that either someone went through this already and know what to do, or that a Bungie support member notices this and helps me troubleshoot.

3 RepliesHi there! Please follow the steps outlined below to provide an accurate system report. Please do not follow these steps while Destiny 2 is running. 1. Restart your machine. 2. When you log in, please click on the Windows icon, then type dxdiag. If typed correctly, only one command should appear. Please click it. (If you need to enter the credentials of an administrator of the PC, please do so). 3. Allow the tool to run. A green bar should progress on the bottom portion of the window. If you receive any dialogue boxes as it progresses, please address them accordingly. 4. Once the tool is completed, please click on the "Save All Information" button. Save the resulting text file in an easy to find location, such as your Desktop. Then, close the tool. 5. Open the text file you just created and copy all of text to your clipboard by selecting all of it (Ctrl+A) and copying it (Ctrl +C OR rightclick and click Copy). Then, close the file. 6. Go to pastebin.com 7. In the text box below, paste all of the text in the box. 8. If you would like to make your system specs hidden, you can change the Paste Exposure to Unlisted. This will hide it from the Public section of the site but still allow people to view your Paste. Then, click the Create New Paste button. 9. Copy the resulting URL and reply back to this comment with the URL.
