Nah fam, well honestly needs to be tweaked in some way shape, or form, the only reason why Bungie has done almost nothing about it is that it is literally the only thing warlocks have in endgame besides stasis turrets. I main warlock and I'm sick of using well only because its the best super for warlocks rn and not for its actual support capabilities as a support role super, have you ever been given -blam!- for running boots of the assembler and Lumina on well before? Because I have, and it was only because I was focusing on survival in the witch queen legendary campaign over doing big -blam!- damage. If they do nerf well and honestly I -blam!- hope they do because I'm sick and tired of HAVING to run it for every piece of difficult content. Every class and every subclass should be viable for endgame content, EVERY super should have endgame viability in some way, and as soon as Bungie incorporates more aspects of gameplay that aren't shooting a -blam!- stationary damn target and giving us a series of bosses LIKE RHULK and strikes and scenarios where standing like a -blam!- tree is not the go to plan, like what it appears to be in Lightfall. I do love the super, but god DAMMIT it would be nice to actually play the game on another subclass or super. I want variety in my gameplay, not to run the same build that has been sitting there fermenting in a gamer's gym bag for 2 to 5 years ... It's like how the only thing for hunters that was viable was Tether because of Omni oculus for a good while. Buff The unpopular stuff to usable levels and then take enough of well's kneecaps in order to let it still be effective as a defensive support super, this is the same problem we had with anarchy. The same problem with Gally in d1, the same problem with self-res in d1, the same problem with Whisper of the worm, Black Hammer, Recluse + Mountaintop, Need I say more? Remember what happened when those things were nerfed? Remember what happens when ANYTHING that op in this game gets nerfed? The game flourishes, especially when Bungie finds a happy medium between all classes and subclasses.
