Genuine question: How did you just retune abilities & not touch Chaos Reach?
Chaos Reach got a dramatic clipping with Arc 3.0. It’s in desperate need of a buff. Probably one of the biggest complaints currently with Warlocks. How? How was this not touched on an abilities tuning pass? Was it even discussed or are we just listening?

Geomags needs the top off perk back. Period. Also buff chaos reach by 25 percent like dawnblade. Problem solved.

You do realize they really just made pvp nerfs to supers and like the most bare bones brain dead buff to dawnblade for pve, right? They didn’t do anything nearly as big as what they’d need to do for chaos reach.

They haven’t announced all the Super changes yet. Most will be shown post light fall. Because I feel you brother, fist of Havoc subclass has fallen in the cracks like Chaos reach!

Nope.. I'm afraid bungie doesn't want warlocks to have anything viable. We'll be stuck shining a laser pointer at people's eyes and getting shot out of the air, for the foreseeable future

6 RepliesTop 3 supers that need substantial buffs: Chaos Reach: needs more damage, maybe more mobility and duration. Nova warp: this thing is pretty good in PvP, but complete -blam!- in pve. Damage buff. Behemoth: good for massive crowd control in pve but has low damage and feels very clunky. Not to mention it’s DR is abysmally low, making it extremely easy to kill in PvP.

I'm not worried about its damage. No way I'd use it in a raid or dungeon over nova if I'm not on well duty. The overall damage of chaos reach will never compete with a nova set up unless they changed it to dump all it's damage just as fast via an exotic. Keeping it as is and ramping it up to outdamage what a nova and full mag of the better heavies does, which is what it would need to be considered for dps in such activities, would be way too much. I use chaos reach for chunky enemies, Champs (which all supers are a joke against in GM's), strike/event bosses after I'm out of ammo, or to fry a bunch of adds to make orbs for everyone. I use stormtrance instead when I can because it's more fun.

Back in mid to late plunder or early this season there was an interview and when asked about buffing Tcrash and Chaos Reach they answered no as they think it's currently fine meaning no buffs in the near future unless they changed their minds recently.
