They are just the only supers you can hope actually charge in a game of trials or twice when you actually need it in quick play.
Reduce the time frames on supers and bring them all back in line with one another so that people can actually use the super that they want to use!

4 RepliesThey're nerfing them cos they know we won't use that shitty strand super lol
-
29 RepliesThere are only two dedicated support/defensive supers in the entire game (Well and Bubble) and Bungie massively nerfs Bubble because it's good at being... a defensive super, lol. You can't make this up. They don't even play their own game.
-
1 ReplyIronic how Bungie added a game mode to IB that specifically benefits Bubble over all other supers and then they decided to nerf bubble. Also ironic how Bungie has known about overshields being a HUGE pain point in pvp for literally a whole -blam!- year and now they're giving it to everyone with that new fragment Bungie works in mysterious ways
-
2 Repliesso... we know what class you run.
-
1 ReplyIf you actually play pvp all you see is thunder crash titan and bubbles to cap the zone in trials or Ib.
-
1 ReplyThundercrash is a high risk super, because you can die at a higher rate trying to use it in a GM or a master raid. Bubble nerf will affect pve more than anything. They must want titans to get away from being defensive and more offensive.
-
4 RepliesThe number one reason there were so many bubbles in IB was the void requirement for the pinnacles. Bubble got the Citan’s treatment in PvP with that update. 40% less health is massive… massive.
-
1 ReplyI'm mad about the thunder crash. It's literally fine, but i guess bungie enjoys nerfing things smh
-
2 RepliesThundercrash was a roaming + shutdown super hybrid that allowed you to just delete any person in your way by being flying near them until you finally land for the biggest AoE attack in the entire game. I don’t even think those ether tanks you can explode have that big of an AoE, and thankfully Bungie is toning it down especially with how brain dead easy it was to use. You could literally fly from one point of the map to the other with full control and delete anything and anyone, if you’re completely oblivious on why it needed a nerf then you’re part of the issue.
-
2 RepliesBubble was broken for ages
-
1 Replywhen bungie says "over performing" they mean that they are the most used, not that they are too strong. if everyone started using manticore in every activity for a month bungie would nerf it... even tho it's mediocre
-
4 RepliesThundercrash is an unavoidable super. Bubble is a free round win. Let’s be real
-
1 ReplyThe constant crying and whining over PVP is how nerfs occur and usually the class doing the most crying gets hit afterwards with a hard nerf on something. I don’t agree with the nerfs to Titans supers but you knew after the IB fortress cry fest that it was coming. Storm grenades were obnoxious and needed to be backed down but the supers weren’t an issue IMO. I’m a Warlock main btw.
-
They need to make the other shut subclasses appealing. They nerf -blam!-, so people go to other subclasses, then say those are now over performing. Quit touching -blam!-. Get rid of the 89 min cast animation for stasis and I'd probably play it more. Feel like I'm walking through mud with that subclass.

Typical bungie logic Release mode that makes everyone use bubble or thunder rash Remove mode Nerf bubble & thundercrash for being overused They've done this for 9 years, morons. Still remember when they buffed swords & nerfed other heavies, filled artifact full of sword mods, then nerfed swords for over usage.
-
1 Replyspoiler they are, but skill issue player don't get it

2 RepliesI'd have to disagree, especially with Bubble. The fact that it comes up before any other super is really just the cherry on top -- the fact is that Bubble is an instant win in any capture zone game, largely because it can only reliably be countered by another super. When I run Shadebinder on Warlock, I'm almost always killed out of it by someone using primary ammo. There are some strats to get rid of a bubble without a super, but most of them require either heavy ammo, or another Titan ability. Its still gonna be crazy strong on Zones, but it definitely needed some viable counters outside of forcing people to ult

2 RepliesSo they make Iron Banner REQUIRE VOID to be used for 2 weeks.. Sees up tick in Bubbles.. says no, we cant have that ... lol
-
24 RepliesBig uh oh opinion but bubble is absolutely useless in PvE, it’s literally power crept by well in every way. Judging from this week’s upcoming patch notes bungie isn’t planning on any change and in fact is nerfing it due to PvP once again. Just at least let us shoot through it so I don’t need to switch to a warlock when I raid because my entire raid party is hunters.

They mentioned in the same article that they’re lowering the highest tier cooldowns. Selective reading.
-
nerfing the only 2 titan unique supers fresh off the heels of introducing yet another roaming melee super is about as tone deaf as Bungie could possibly hope to achieve.
-
Only real useful supers for raids and GM content as well.
-
Edited by Cinderchar: 2/9/2023 3:39:03 PMThis is typical Bungie though. They force everyone into specific metas -- for harder content -- and then use the phrase "over preforming" as a way to justify nerfing it to force you into the next meta. The reality is there isn't much to chose from if you want to compete in the harder activities. And then you figure, if I am building for harder activities, I might as well just run it in everything else too. Maybe loadouts will help alleviate that? I think most people just don't want to be bothered with switching loadouts constantly -- manually-- depending on where they are so they build one that can be used everywhere.

2 RepliesThis dev team I think I’m starting to believe should just hand the game over to another team or SEPARATE THE SANDBOXES! That way PVE players will stop getting screwed over due to a game mode they don’t play. Why on Gods green earth are you MAKING THE DESCENT SOONER WHEN YOU REDUCED FLIGHT TIME BY .5 SECONDS? It’s time of descent will happen sooner due to that itself.

LoL, bubbles are easy to take care of, one storm grenade and shotgun punch combo once his over shield is gone and it’s over. Thunder crash on the other hand, is much harder to kill, in my opinion, sniping them is easier than team shooting, bare in that you need good crosshair placement for it, is a very strong way to take them out.
