And don't stop until they are 33.33% of your workforce.
This strand titan nonsense is the laziest thing I have ever seen from Bungie. Compare that to the other two kits and it is night and day the amount of effort that went into the classes. Particularly Hunter.
It's not even just the super. It's their entire attitude toward Titan that is insulting. Trust and beleive Bungie that Titan mains DO NOT WANT reskinned different color melee only abilities/supers/exotics you name it. It's boring!! You know the chief sin of any game? It's boredom. That revered Bungie "feel" doesn't mean anything if your entire class is boring.
The only, and I mean only thing, that is keeping Titans propped up from absolute class level disaster is Heart of Inmost Light. It's the one thing that makes the class playable in PvE. I hope they nerf it. I would love to see Titans just start to quit the game en masse due to the absolute sorry state that Bungie has allowed lack of creativity to creep into the both the subclass selections and the exotic selections.
Titan is all I play. I'm well aware of all the options. I really, really don't care what Hunters or Warlock mains have to say about this. This is an issue about titan mains that we who play the class have to deal with. If I were a hunter I would be super stoked for the new year. Get my preorder in and start getting ready. But I'm not. I'm a titan who is not preordering for the first time.
The icing on the cake is going to be when they buff the damage for the Titan strand super because they know, they know, their lazy effort is exposed. More numbers on the screen don't fix boredom Bungie.

2 RepliesIt does feel a little lazy. Sure, from what they've shown for now anyways. Heart of Inmost Light may be good, but it definitely isn't the only valid/decent option we have, mate. That statement is as lazy as Bungies go at this. Wouldn't bat an eye if they nerfed that exotic. They will have to show more or impress with how the super functions when Lightfall releases for me to change minds. Hopefully, it gives more fun than what is shown.

1 Reply*Bungie* : "So tell me a bit about your self." *Titan main*: "I punch."
-
They did. They did hire Titan mains, just for IB Fortress. Where in God’s name have you been? Lolol
-
Because you armchair devs have all of the answers 🙄
-
Most bungie devs are warlock mains, I'm glad to hear that, why is the warlock the most featured in the trailer, and why is their strand so nice to look at?
-
Love how people say devs and bungie teams are all hunter all warlocks or whatever... yet you don't even know at all... I'm pretty sure hippie who talks in the twabs has expressed numerous times she's a titan main btw... And most devs don't have a main they play all 3 characters.

2 RepliesThis right here ^ They all warlocks 🙄
What makes you feel like the put way more effort into Hunter (or Warlock for that matter). The super is essentially Arcstrider but green. Hell it even uses the EXACT same dodge animation. The only major difference is that you’re holding a rope dart instead of a staff. The new melee isn’t even all that different from withering blade. The only unique thing about it is the catching feature. The dive is just the strand version of Shatterdive/trapper’s ambush. I don’t think titans are mad about the super being a “copy/paste”. I think you guys are just tired of roaming supers as a whole, which is fair. I think a ranged one and done would be a good change of pace.

5 RepliesEdited by Clone: 2/8/2023 11:51:12 AMBungie have done nothing but appease the titan mains non stop since witch queen. Resilience is the most overpowered stat, they made loreley, which let you AFK content, LMAO they even gave arc titan twilight garrison as a class ability to stop the death threats 😂

7 RepliesYou are just entitled. Titans are warrior/tank class. That is your role.

7 RepliesEdited by A_mo: 2/8/2023 1:12:56 PMSo what would you suggest Titans get? The subclass hasn't even come out yet and Titans just had the strongest subclass for 6 months straight. Out of all three classes Titan mains do seem to act the most entitled. It's very interesting to watch though. Absolutely fascinating.

With all due respect, -blam!-. Titans are perfectly fine as they are and as for strand we did not see -blam!- jet, what are you getting worked up about? W8 until it comes out at least.
-
Hunter had effort? If you dont use the wire grenade you effectively have only 1 aspect. Warlock by far had the most effort.. AGAIN. Same as in void and stasis.
-
Dang.. you got an early release of lightfall already?
-
FINALLY someone said it, Hunters get everything and warlocks something in between . Titans have been nerfed to bits in the past 8 months

2 RepliesTitan punches! Available in blue, purple, red and now green flavor!!! Collect them all!

One day Bungie hates Warlocks the most, the next Titans One class we are sure they don't hate,Hunters Titans and Warlocks must unite against the Evil Hunter menace, I hope they all trip on there capes!!! -
1 ReplyTitans aren't 33% of the workforce. 50% if the player base is hunters. They are more like 25-30%
-
The rehashing of the animations is kinda lazy, i agree. Though, I still think titan is gonna have a great super, which is gonna fall in the same category as chaos reach, but with more burst damage.
You know the chief sin of any game? It's boredom.
Truth You are right about the rest as well, and this is from a player who is a 100% Warlock Main (I have a Titan and a Hunter, but I almost never play them). But every class should have its 33.33%... And Boring? That should not even be possible in a Bungie game... D2 is literally to second most profitable game of all time after W.O.W. There is NO excuse... I want amazing and absurd waiting around the 'corner'. Something about RNG in Destiny has always bothered me in a way I never quit figured out till just now: The way it happens in Destiny, the RNG scale ALWAYS has a "The House Always Wins" feel and REALITY to it. That kind of RNG is ONLY BAD. But it doesn't have to be that way... I want surprises in the game. Not all the time. Not predictably. But there should ALWAYS be a small chance of absolutely ABSURD GOOD LUCK. Hell, even absurd BAD LUCK could be FUN. To make a comparison to a Advanced Dungeons & Dragons, I am talking about critical successes and critical fails. Really small chances of things happening that are so unexpected, impossible, absurd that everyone on both sides of a fight forget that they are fighting and just stare for a few seconds at the spectacle. Such as... A boss trips before a 'Big' attack and blows his own leg off, finishing the fight writhing around doing damage (maybe even more dmgbut in an altered way... maybe catching a lot of his own forces with attacks from then on. Things so rare you are unlikely to EVER see the same one twice, but so memorable no-one playing when they happen will ever forget. Things like a PVP grenade blowing a players arms off but NOT killing them right away leaving them wandering the pvp map weaponless except for maybe a 'head butt' melee attack and a "fading fast" buff that makes them drop dead in 30 seconds, but gives them a "dumb luck" overshield during that time... Things like a very very small, chance ANY EXOTIC or Legendary can drop from ANY activity or significant kill... Like Vex Mythoclast dropping from PVP Match. Or a player tripping and killing/impairing A team-mate (accidentally). Or a drop ship crashing instead of dropping reinforcements... Or weapons fire/armaments combining in some unexpected way and causing some way bigger than normal cascade of events or explosion... Things that would be fun and exciting even if they killed you... GUNSHIP

They don’t play their game regularly. That’s why most of the game is constant nerfs and buffs.
-
8 RepliesRemember when Warlocks were crying? Guess it's the Titans turn. Hopefully the hunters don't follow suit

It took the entire community getting up in arms about Warlock’s super just being a “lime-flavored blade barrage” 6 months ago to get them to change it. Warlocks got the short end of the stick for a whole year of revamps. Dawnblade is just now getting to the point that it’s not a nerf. Stormcaller still feels pretty meh even after they buffed Arc Soul by 50%. Titan should’ve gotten a different super. A one-off projectile super would’ve been really useful. Blade arms are cool, I love that they remind me of dual blades from monster hunter, but it’s a bit much for yet another melee-focused roaming super.

2 Repliestitan love to melee that's all a titan need to do

2 RepliesEdited by Freak: 2/8/2023 7:18:13 PMLoL don’t read the new patch preview. They literally shat all over Titans in this patch. 7 more years of Hunter Simulator…. Bungie(Inept) RiP
