We should have a fundraiser for it like the Eliksni sector. I have thought that this would be a fun seasonal idea for a while. We collect materials in activities and world to supply the reconstruction. Just don't hire Spider to oversee it like the Eliksni sector.

Looks like bunch of government contractors from UK have been working on it. Decades of work, nothing to show 🤣🤣🤣
-
It's realistic, even space contractors drag their feet 🤣🤣🤣

Guardian, Archon Of LightArchon Priest Of House Light - old
"But new lights won't understand why the Tower is different" -
They're too busy making emblems and pins

The second Death Star was built faster.

3 RepliesIt's beyond embarrassing it's still under repair. The almighty was built in lesser time.

3 RepliesWhat's fun is that with the Red War storyline removed, the context for the destruction is gone. Bungie wants things to be a "living, evolving world" but they always leave in stuff like this that contradicts that idea.

That would require their devs to do hard work! They would need to copy and paste the code and assets from destiny 1 to destiny 2 and that would require them to actually do something other than posting political expressions and hide dog pics in their twab. Look at the iron temple we got back in a recent questline. It's literally a watered down, low res destiny 1 copy and paste without even making the temple entrable. They often said "its not as simple as copy and pasting d1 maps to d2". The iron temple literally proved them wrong. You should temper your expectations, its Bungie we are talking about here...

They can't even fix the game.

3 RepliesI think the tower will be destroyed by the pyramids
-
I don't want to know how that would effect the coding of the game, but if its anything like the 'update' two weeks ago it might break the game if it gets fiddled with.
-
Spinfoil hat theory! - I think we may load into the repaired/renewed old Tower at the end of 'The Final Shape' campaign. Similar to how we loaded into the temporary 'Tower' (Wall) at the end of the 'Red War' campaign.

7 RepliesIn Beyond Light they finally repaired a few parts and it stopped smoking. We all were hoping it was going to be fully repaired by Lightfall but it hasn't had an update since Season of Lost.

Must be why that one guy keeps asking to know "who's in charge here?" He needs sign off, of structurally critical work, and work can't progress till he has it.
-
Just take us back to the original one…

2 RepliesThey are imitating government workers.

Yes please , i left my twilight garrison in the vault...and my zhalo supercell 🥲

1 ReplyBringing it back would expose artistically what a shell of its former self the game is. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ghXGCov9nig

I was recently playing D1, and I have to say, the new tower is significantly better than the old.
-
Uhm... clearly it's not a priority for Bungie. I mean, as work for the game. There's no reason to repair the Tower on the backgroud (change the textures and models) if we remain on the Walls as hub. Actually, reparing it without the intention to bring the Guardians back there would only cause more people to ask to go back on the Tower as in D1 :/
