I'm having issues with double pressing to jump.
When I press the initial button to start the jump, the input thinks it's a double press and my jump cancels out. This started happening yesterday, and I went through the troubleshooting steps from Sony and it is still doing it. My controller works fine on other games. Anybody have suggestions for why this happening? I'm on ps5.

5 RepliesI have had that issue before. It has happened on every controller I have had while playing destiny 2. Not sure if it is the game because it would come and go only on destiny. But you can use rubbing alcohol on said button IF you think it is due to any built up dirt. I do know that the architecture of the game will cause double jumps to trigger. Off any slants or bumps in the game. With the rubbing alcohol, you will want to apply it to a paper towel and then dab it around said button. It is safe to use and will dry itself.
