In short no. The legacy exotics that have the round the round perk selections were purposely done like that after a number of glitches were able to be exploited with these. If you don't have a new one, you can check your collections to see if you can pull one out, or run the legendary lost sectors on helmet day until you get a new one. [spoiler] But... SOME (last time I checked and good luck searching) old exotics with Deprecated Perks seem to defy the odds and still work even through the grayed out sign.[/spoiler]
