The old Halo CE map "Longest" was better designed

You literally have Hand cannon/Shotgun on every character. Not every map is good for short range weapons either put a scout on or learn to snipe.

I leave Burnout every time, it's a trash map, you'd think Bungie would stop putting players into maps we obviously hate.

Then this laughable dev team finally makes a new one and it's the most universally hated map that has quitters every single time it pops up. And then these clowns see the data of too many players quitting mid game and add a quitter penalty for casual quickplay. You can't make this up, it's jsut as sad as comical what Bungie has turned into.

The map was built for Rift, one of the worst game modes imaginable, so of course it's terrible.

Terrible map . Rumble and clash always end in time when i get disjunction because finding engagements takes so dam long and you spawn across the universe .

I hate the map too. I'll stick around if everyone else does, but that rarely happens. If we land and there's less than 10 people still there, I leave. If I stay you can almost guarantee a few more people will leave too. That shows how much people dislike the map and also shows how little effort goes into map design now. If the map was shorter and wider with better spawn points, that would be better. Instead of either spawning in and running for 15 seconds to get back to the action or to spawn in by myself and start running to have the enemy team start spawning right behind me only to be shot in the back a few seconds after spawning, or even worse to be shot while spawning in. This map plays so slowly because of this poor design.

The issue is the map was designed for Rift. It works pretty darn well for that gamemode as well. The issue is for anything other than Rift, not so much.

I like this map. I just wish that the chances I got it were equal to all other maps because it can be a bit repetitive.

I feel the same, but I don't leave because that affects the streak multiplier. It's a terrible map. Nothing more annoying than getting constant potshots from way out at the sides of the map from Mida while you're in the middle actually playing the objective with mid range weapons. The way the map is set up you actually have about a zero percent chance of digging out the campers in the rocks once they're set up. Not to mention that the middle section is terribly designed for pvp.
