There’s no competition
In pvp. Unless you’re the type that gets your wreckage in the flawless pool. Everything else is lopsided easy wins and stats towards one side.
Matchmaking is once again a disaster for team balance. Should remove any form of stats because the system is dictating to who wins what and they what team will be heavily stacked.
What else we expect from destiny though, it’s always been bad in pvp and it’s never getting better, more people leaving games again (product) of horrible team balance, in fact I’m advocating people leave, if you are placed in predetermined 70%+ chance to lose, bail . -blam!- getting good, -blam!- the aggravation

Crucible isn't about competition. It's apparently about making bad players who play 3 games a week feel as comfy as possible for the 30 minutes a week they spend in the playlist. Based on recent updates, anyways.

Destiny in small doses but some live in Quickplay ?! All day every day same thing over and over ! We know it’s rigged , laggy , buggy and there’s cheating happening on all levels ….that’s how strong the hood this game has on people ! Bungie have a formula that brings in people and keeps most playing for years . Pretty amazing ….and a little sad at the same time 🤷🏼♂️

There never has been. You ever wondered why you never hear about Destiny Pros and why the very limited amount of actual tournaments restrict about 85% of the game? It's one unbalanced mess that is just meant to get silly in. Destiny's PvP is just a super casual mode that a handful of people take way too seriously because they can't actually compete in real PvP games.

1 ReplyCouldn't be further from the truth for me. Spent the whole week in iron banana and I have to see it was pretty evenly matched . Yes there was the odd blowout (lol) but generally it was good. My only criticism is titan bubbles making it a bit silly. But meh not that big a deal.

PvP has never been competitive and it never will be. Really it was never meant to be. But some people take it far too seriously. Tbh I didn’t run into a single stack in IB this week but matches were still mostly lopsided. The issue is lobby balancing and that’s too hard for them to figure out so they bandage it with inferior matchmaking styles

Same thing 🤷♂️ It's not even because of "competitive feel". 6's just aren't fun in general, to many people holding hands on lanes because of map design, pretty bored of control, connections make PvP unplayable so the more people the worse it gets 🤷♂️ no thanks lol plus trying to force win rates is not it.
