I NEVER see anyone use the sanguine alchemy robes for warlocks. its been almost fully eclipsed by the boots of the assembler, a reasonably better choice. So what if alchemies perk was changed a little? the extension part could be kept or removed but the examples bellow could be added.
example could be as follows:
* Empowering rift kills grant cure and/or restoration 1
* Healing rift kills grant something akin to radiance
(The alchemy idea being that it changes kills into a timed boost that is somewhat similar to the other rift.)

If anything boots needs to go back to how it was originally launched. Just like Sanguine needs its original heightened senses perk back. Bungie killed it when they brought trials back because apparently warlocks having wall hacks while standing stationary is to OP but hunters having it while running around is fine, titans still had it then with one eyed mask as well. Nvm wishender Just revert sanguine back to its original state.

1 ReplyThis exotic would be S tier if we had a “horde mode/defend [____]” It’s quite fun to use on Altars, have had 21 empowering rifts down at once, the brightest thing in the game by far LOL.

Being an exotic that exclusively functions with rifts automatically makes sanguine bad. You can't try to enhance the worst ability in the game and expect to get value out of it.

Luckily you have a vault...just incase they update some exotics. 2 RepliesGiven that the Sanguine Alchemist is very clearly “Vampire” based I think a cool rework would be… - Rift is now larger, last longer, and has a reduced cast time. While using Voidwalker, Rifts grant True-Sight for anybody standing inside it. Also kills and assists while inside the Rift grant stacks of resistance when the Rift goes away. (Getting kills or assist charges up a resistance buff that is applied when the rift goes away)

5 RepliesOld sanguine alchemy was cool but I can see why they changed it. Rifts highlighted nearby enemies (even ones behind walls). It became one of those required exotics to have in pvp.

All kills should extend rift timer, not just weapon kills Arc souls would be hella fun for most content with this

Dude majority of the game exotic armor needs a rework due 3.0 shafted a heavy amount of exotic armor that only a small amount are useful now

1 Reply- Keep the current perks - Add a perk that doubles the radius of the Rift - npcs stepping in the Rift drains tiny amounts of health off to extend the timer on the Rift

This season we didn't even get any new exotics. They should take the 4-5 useless exotics each class has and remake them. I think that in the case of sanguine alchemy , if they increased the size of the fissure (like well size), it would already be interesting.

1 ReplyI have a couple of ideas for a rework, but mainly for Voidwalker since the whole Blood Magic theme: •buffs void buddy’s radius, duration, health, and damage it deals. •devour now also grants melee and class ability energy, increases devour’s duration •activating devour will also give you a void overshield, this includes kills while devour is active. •your void abilities do increased damage when devour is active. •grants a second class ability charge, your rifts now last longer and have a slightly bigger radius. •hold your class ability button to consume your rift for an aura that surrounds your Warlock that gives the benefit of your equipped rift. •standing in your rift grants Truesight when Voidwalker is equipped. •enemies that walk through your rift are slowed and have their health consumed, the health consumed is given to you instead. (This applies to Well too) •increases the distance of Dark Blink during Nova Warp. Dark Blink doesn’t consume super energy and has increased damage resistance during the animation. •hold grenade button to consume it for devour to activate. While devour is active you gain truesight

When they tried to nerf Boots of the assembler they did say they would rework sanguine have they not gone through with that rework yet?

Agree, what it does now is absolutely useless in the current sand box. I think allow it extend rifts like it does now, but add a stacking buff (for the user only) as you get more kills. Healing rift grant stronger regeneration, empowering rift gives bigger damage bonus.
