Chaos Accelerant should have 2 or 3 Fragment slots

Out of all the grenade-enhancing Aspects, Chaos Accelerant is the worst. Since they removed the damage bonus it used to grant before Void 3.0, the only real use it has now is increasing the radius of Vortex Grenades. It has very little benefit to any of the other Grenades; Scatter Grenades seem to actually do less damage when charged by Chaos Accelerant. Yet, for some reason, it still only has one Fragment Slot. Since it's highly unlikely that they'll actually give it any worthwhile buffs, they should at least give it 1-2 additional Fragment Slots.

  • 100% and HHSN should be a 1hk again. But us Warlock mains see only subpar class reworks, immediate nerfs if anything is deemed strong and worthless exotics. Don’t hold your breath. Btw Warlock strand should also have blink.

    • It 100% needs buffs I understand Bungie was afraid of enhanced grenades originally due to the stasis 3.0 grenades but they really are weak. Compare the DOT grenade of each enhance: Solar shoots out bubbles that deal a lot of damage enough to kill supers and majors with ease without the main grenade, Pulse recharges your abilities and deals a lot of damage to slow/stationary targets, stasis grows bigger and freezes anything in pve that gets hit directly, void a very small size increase. Like wow the void needs to do something else.

      • I’d honestly just return the damage bonus (make it PvE only if it’s that big of an issue) and have overcharged scatter grenades apply volatile. I’d also buff Controverse a little. Reduce the downtime between energy returns so you can more consistently get the 50-ish% return. It’s currently one of the worse energy return exotics. It’d also be nice if they gave us back energy drain of something…

      • It’s funny because not only is it significantly worse than all other grenade improving aspects (Touch of Winter, Touch of Flame, Touch of Thunder), it also is not active passively (i.e you have to waste the second to charge the grenade before getting the “benefit”) and gives less fragment slots than the others. It really doesn’t add up.

          • or they could buff the aspect and remove the stupid charge up bs make it on par with the other touch of () grenade aspects, but if any of the aspects need a 3rd slot its the child of the old gods. Plus devour needs to proc on rift placement "But you can do that with secant filaments" Has anyone else noticed how tame the newer warlock exotics have been over the last year have been? pretty sure the only one that's made more than just a tiny ripple in the actual warlock meta was osmiomancy. all the other ones were kind of bland to be honest

            • It should have Two fragment slots like most other Grenade Aspects, and I still say scatter grenades should get taken out and replaced with Void Wall. Turn Void Wall into a Volatile grenade and into either a Longer Taller Wall or similar to the effects of a Molotov with taller flames (Radial Attack). Another option is to give Spike Grenades a longer reach or wider radius and weaken or suppression and another option could be vampirism like the older melee and get health and class energy back on Dmg. Scatter Grenades needs to be replaced and the aspect needs Two fragment slots that’s the main point lol.

            • While I fully agree that the Aspect is in desperate need of help, what do you do about Contraverse Hold and, to a lesser extend, Nothing Manacles? Without the ability to charge a grenade, Contraverse Hold simply won't function as-is and Nothing Manacles' effect is just to enable what Chaos Accelerant does but without the Aspect (plus the second charge).

                Honestly it does so little it should have just been a fragment not an aspect. Come to think of it devour should not be an aspect either since they nerfed the absolute -blam!- out of it. Should also be an aspect. Basically impossible to proc with a zero-damage void melee and nerfed chaos accelerant. Might be worth it if I could still choke down my grenade. Child is just awesome workhorse. Needs a better aspect to go with it.
