Speaking from personal experience, if you obtain the [i]Artifice[/i] version of the Armor without having first gotten the standard version it will appear as unlocked in your Collections Tab, however it will not show up in either your Recently Discovered loot feed (as displayed on the Collections screen) or in the Appearance Customization menu as an unlockable Ornament. Luckily you can still work to get a copy of the standard armor piece which will then allow you to unlock the Ornament as normal. Had this happen on my Warlock with the TM-Moss Custom Hat. Got the Artifice version to drop and couldn’t unlock the Ornament until I went back and got the standard version. (΄◉◞౪◟◉｀)
